Bought this for my best friend who watched the Netflix show and he loves the game so far!

What a great game. If you enjoyed the previous two Witcher titles, then this one is a treat. Bought on Black Friday for 25 bucks. Very happy.

It's a very fun game and it is huge, and coming right onto it is overwhelming, but once o read a little about it and watched some how to videos, it became very fun, . If you're new to the story line like i was, and new to its strategics it gets very complicated

This is easily the best game one can ever have. Endless gameplay and you never get bored for not even a second. A MUST have for everyone.

This game was very impressive and i spend to much hours on thi game, but worth every minute. This is much better than eleder scrolls games.

I'm not a huge Witcher fan, so I waited for this to go on sale, and the primary reason I picked it up at all was because I've heard nothing but great things about it. I thought The Witcher 2 was all right, so I figured it was worth the shot. Wow, do I feel misled. Let me start with the biggest, glaring weakness of this game: The combat. I enjoyed Witcher 2 despite its terrible combat system, and it's extremely disappointing that the same sluggish, clumsy garbage is in W3 as well. And unfortunately, for those like myself that absolutely hate this combat system, there is nothing you can do about it; I failed to see any major difference between difficulty settings. Rather than going over it point-by-point, what I'll recommend is that you play the game, specifically the combat, before picking it up. Here's how much it affected my score: If I could have played this game without combat, my score would've jumped up to a 3 or 4 stars or 7/10. Sadly, my score still probably wouldn't have gotten higher than that. The world is large and the graphics are great, yes, but I felt no connection to the characters, the menu screens are still super clunky, the horse (even after the patches) is glitchy, and loading times are terrible (albeit not Bloodborne bad). W3 also has this bad habit (like far too many games these days) of trying to do things automatically for you, for instance sheathing and unsheathing your sword. These are things that you cannot turn off in the options menu. I even felt that the music was lackluster. Ultimately, my recommendation boils down to this: If you liked the combat in W2, or if you manage to try the combat out for W3 and like it, then you will probably like W3 as a whole and you should buy it. If not, I recommend picking up Dragon Age: Inquisition. Aside from graphics, it did everything W3 tried to do but better. Yes, even the music.

I bought this game hoping for something like a next-gen Skyrim. I was not disappointed. The biggest difference is that there is no character customization; rather, you play as Geralt. In terms of size, quests, play time, etc, it gets my thumbs up. Recomended.
