Good movie, poor quality
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.If you are a fan of James and the giant peach or Matalida, this movie belongs in your collection. Written by the same author of books such as "The BFG", "Matilda", "James and the giant peach", and "Charlie and the chocolate factory". Once again Roald Dahl has your curiosity sparked with the tale of one boy and his grandmother coming face to face with their worst nightmare, the grand high witch. Caution the makeup job in this movie can be scary at times, so if any young kids are to watch this, you should probably skip to the part and see it first yourself to decide if they can handle the meeting of the witches. The only complaint I have is the poor quality of the video, it seems that all the studio did was pop in an old tape of the film and transfer it right onto DVD.

'Scary' but cute!
