The Wolf Among us is TellTale's best game so far in my opinion I loved both of The Walking Dead games but I liked The Wolf Among us even more. If you've played any of TellTale's other games before such as The Walking Dead or Tales from the Borderlands than you'll already be familiar with the play style. The game takes fictional characters from the fables you heard as a child such as the Big Bad Wolf and Beauty and the Beast and brings them all together as real people living hidden in the real world in a town called Fabletown. It might seem kind of corny but TellTale actually did an amazing job of turning these childhood stories into characters with real lives and real life problems, although it involves fictitious children's characters the game is very violent and graphic and is far from being a childrens game. You play the game as a character named Bigby (the big bad wolf). Although his shady past is acknowledged in the game, Bigby has turned his life around and is now the Sheriff in Fabletown and its his job to keep the other "fables" in check. As Bigby you work to solve a major crime that occurred among the fables and the decisions you make greatly impact the way that the story unfolds. Your choices determine whether people like you or hate you and whether or not they will help you with your investigation and the decisions you make even impact whether characters live or die. You'll be hooked after about ten minutes of playing and the game will keep you on the edge of your seat guessing what will happen next. If you've played and enjoyed The Walking Dead than you will definitely enjoy The Wolf Among us- the playstyle is very similar and the story is just as exciting.

this game is very compelling in a sense that you get involved in this city and want to know more about the criminal behavior behind thanks to some great voice acting and unique game play on the vita it's a great game to buy for it. the only issue i have is that there is some noticeable frame rate drops during action scenes when you have to react but it isn't enough to not buy it on the vita.

Although the Vita translation suffers from long load times, its still a really good translation from its console counterparts. The choices may largely be insignificant to the direction of the story, but the artwork and dialogue are strong. The ending is satisfying, although the episodes individually are a little short. Ultimately, a good addition to anyones Vita collection.

This was an interesting story-driven take on the world of fairy tales with a great mystery whodunit element. Telltale makes great story driven games where each of your choices has a direct, observable impact on the world. Performance on the vita can be somewhat sluggish during the transition from cut scenes to button sequences, which may frustrate some players.

I didn't know what to expect from this game, but I'm enjoying it very much so far. The story is very good and the plot twists make the game hard to put down. The only thing that keeps this from having 5 stars is that the game gets very laggy at times, which affects immersion.

It has all of the standard jank that any of Telltale's recent critically acclaimed games features (huge framerate drops, instability, possible eaten saves), but TWAU is possibly the best one they've made yet, which makes it worthwhile.

The wolf among us is made by the same guys as the walking dead series. It is really underrated for just how good it is. You play the big bad wolf in a very dark fairytale story. The game is based on a comic book series. It plays very well on the vita too.

I BOUGHT THIS FOR MY SON. HE LOVES THE STORYLINE AND HAS REALLY ENJOYED PLAYING THE GAME. THERE ARE NOT ENOUGH NEW GAMES FOR THE PSVITA AND THIS ONE WAS A GREAT FIND. IT IS INTERESTING AND FUN FOR AN OLDER TEENAGER!!

This is a great game it's similar to walking dead. It has twist and turns that took me off guard. Waiting for the next chapter

This game has a great storyline. It's interesting, the graphics are comic-book-style, and your decisions direct where the storyline goes.

I was not expecting much from this game, so I went in thinking it was going to be okay, at best. It is a very engrossing game with emotionally attached characters that you love and love to hate. The story line is original and the atmosphere really lends itself to telling a wicked fairy tale story! You really can't compare this game to the original walking dead. (Apples/oranges) It is more immersive if you play it on a touch screen. Do yourself a favor and check it out!

Its definitely a great game and im glad to have it. The only downside is quite often on scenes where it requires a quick button press the ps vita version will lag and you will more often than not miss the button press. That said every missed button press does not result in a game over but depends more on the context of the situation for a potential game over. If I had to buy it again ill be honest id have bought the console or pc versions. To put it simply this game lags worse than borderlands 2 however again only usually in action situations and hardly ever during just plain dialogue. Im giving it 4 stars because even though it lags this game is worth the price on any system. The story is incredible and is definitely another great from telltale games. If I had to pick one system though id say go with pc. On vita and all other systems there are lots of lets just say particle effects and other subtleties that get left out. The pc version feels the most complete and is most likely the easiest to control but thats in my own opinion. If you only have the ps vita though definitely get it. The lag will frustrate you a bit but still its one of those games you have to play. It will certainly keep you on edge till the end. Sadly though the replay value is well nonexistant except to choose other choices and see what happens. I could say more but I dont want to wind up spoiling it. Simply put get this game. Its well worth it.

The wolf among us does a fantastic job leading on the player with amazing writing and making you really feel the decisions you make. The worst thing about the game is it's load times. I don't know if it's because the Vita as a handheld or if the series has that problem throughout all consoles.

The game engine shows its age but this new series from TellTale is a fantastic departure from the (heavier) Walking Dead series. Very much a grown up game with difficult choices, but excellent writing and an intriguing story/setting make for a fantastic game. I look forward to the next season.

Coming from Telltale Games, master of point and click adventure games, A Wolf Among Us is a spinoff of the Fables comics published by DC. If you're a fan of the comic series or stuff like Once Upon a Time or mystery series, you'll get a kick out of this.

If you played any of the recent telltale games, then you know what to expect. You are given many dialogue choices and this in turn changes certain situations. Game kinda stutters at times and is my only complaint.

Similar gameplay to the Walking Dead series, but I actually prefer this one. I also think these type of games are ideal for the Vita (bugs aside).

The Wolf Among Us is a very good game. The only drawback that I have with it is the conversion is not the smoothest and could have been done better. The game suffers hiccups in frame rate .
