Scully returns to save the day. X-Files time and I binge watched it.

better than last season but will it be the last? time will tell

I absolutely love the series, from the original to the new series. Was kind of hoping that Scully would finally see an alien this season, but that didn't happen. I've heard rumors that this box set may end up being the finale, because Gillian Anderson wants to leave the series and Chris Carter doesn't want to do it without both Scully and Mulder, but I say keep it going. I love 'The X-Files', and as long as they make episodes, then I'll watch them. And when they hit Blu-ray, I'll buy them. Hope they continue with the series.

Like many, I found the season 10 "limited event series" to be a bit of a mixed bag, with some episodes being better than others, and in fact some episodes being rather, well, not good. However I felt season 10 was, as a whole, quite excellent. Though the first episode was a bit of a rough start it immediately began to resemble the X-Files I love once the next episode hit. As far as quality goes, the visual compression and depth the bluray provides absolutely KILLS the overly compressed streaming and cable versions. Also, the audio now pops with much more depth in it's uncompressed format here.

As a long time fan of this series I was happy to have this most recent season added to my collection. The picture and sound are as always on Blu-Ray perfect. This season has a couple of notable episodes that are reminiscent of the original seasons but the overall season as with the prior "Event Series" is a bit lackluster in trying to continue the back stories and conspiracies from the originals. at the end of the day I love this stuff so I'm overall pleased with this purchase at a great price from Best Buy.

This seems to be a good ending to the series. I do believe they have left room to continue the series and go into deeper detail of events. The son William was still alive at the end and could make for a continuation series. Overall the series had good episodes, funny episodes, scary episodes and strange episodes. The series on Blu-ray is definitely worth viewing.

The X-Files was a great series. Fans missed it dearly. When it returned for a 10th season, it was only 6 episodes, and didn't completely feel like the original series. But the 11th season is what we all hoped for! It's a longer season, and feels like the X-Files never left!!! Plus, the blu-ray has TONS of extra features, making it even more worth the money spent! Highly recommended!

If you are an X-Files collector like I am, then you will enjoy this blu-ray season 11 of The X-Files. This event series of The X-Files was fantastic even though they didn’t show much of The Smoking Man. I know there will not be a season 12, which I am disappointed in, because this still needs a conclusion. I just wish they were able to finish with a more happy ending than what they did.

The eleventh season of "The X-Files" may possibly be the final one as Gillian Anderson has stated she's done portraying Agent Scully. But if this is truly the end, then it's a somewhat fitting ending. Despite the overall frustrating main plot of the series with a loose end, this season is worth watching simply for some of the stand-alone episodes which have continued to define the mythology of the series. So overall, it's definitely recommended for fans.

The X Files combined all three genres very well, and threw in alot of conspiracy theory as well.I loved the variety of interesting episodes along with the subtle humor. It's very much like I remember the show from before". I also loved the ongoing story of their son. I really hope the Xfiles continues. Am very much looking forward to the next season!

As a fan of the show from the very beginning I enjoyed the last season HOWEVER it’s not without its flaws. How it starts and basically erases the end to the previous season I absolutely hated. The ending was a bit lame but not horrible. One of the best episodes ever in this season (the “silent” one) so overall I recommend it to fans of the show

The last two seasons of this Larger than Life trailblazer, have been...trailblazer themselves. They further play with our expectations, and deepen the mystery of the universe and life on Earth. Too bad Scully will not go on. When Fox left, the series continued, but without Scully, it seems meaningless. Who's the boss now, ah?

Huge fan of the X Files. Watched it originally on TV back in the day. Still watch reruns on TV. Have started collecting the Blu Ray's of each season. Have 1, 2, 3, and picked this one up Black Friday on sale. The picture on Blu Ray looks much better than originally on TV. If your a fan of the X Files, just own them.

This blu ray is worth it, especially if you add the "extras" in it, like commentaries, etc. It's not the strongest season, but it can be viewed as an actual end point of the X-files. I think season 9 would have been a better ending to the series, but the acting and chemistry between the characters are still strong, and that's worth the price to complete the set.
