Easy to Use with Both Hot and Cold Settings

I could be the poster child for puffy eyes. My eyes are more than puffy - I have bags under my eyes. They are so noticeable that the employees at the cosmetic booth that is set up in my local mall stop me as I walk by to try and sell me their puffy eye products. Last month I went on a mission to see what I could do to minimize the bags and ordered 4 different puffy eye cream products. Two were useless and two helped some. The Theraface product became available at the perfect time. It is very easy to use - easier than a similar product I tried a couple of years ago. It came partially charged, so I used the included charging cord to give it a full charge before trying it out. The cord has a USB-C connector on each end, so a wall adapter is needed. There are 2 settings/buttons - cold and hot. A long press on either button turns the appliance on at the lowest setting. Additional short presses increase the intensity - cold/colder/coldest or hot/hotter/hottest. The light ring flashes one, two or three times to indicate the level. The skin under my eyes is very thin and fragile - which is why the bags develop, especially when I use eye drops at night for dry eyes. The instructions say to use the device on dry skin with no moisturizer, 3 minutes on each side of the face. The hot setting is used to increase circulation and the cold setting to decrease puffiness. I can easily tolerate the lowest heat setting (95 degrees F), but because the skin around my eyes is so delicate, the middle heat setting (100 degrees F) can become too hot in less than a minute. I think the highest setting of 108 degrees F might damage my skin. Also, on dry skin, the tip drags and pulls the loose skin which feels uncomfortable. The drag is especially noticeable with the cold setting. I have better luck if I use the TheraFace device a few minutes after applying a moisturizer. I haven’t been able to tolerate a treatment for the full 6 minutes yet, but with just 1 - 2 minutes I can feel the drainage as the fluid is removed. The hot setting is nice and feels good. The cold setting is like putting ice cubes on my eyes. Cold is supposed to be the setting that decreases puffiness the best, but it doesn’t feel as good as the heat and it makes my eyes red, which makes the puffiness more noticeable. I haven’t seen much difference in the puffiness yet, but it’s only been a few days. Even the creams with caffeine say it might take up to 5 weeks to see a noticeable difference. I’m thinking that maybe a combination of the puffy eye creams and the TheraFace wand will be the way to go.

Nice Addition To Your Skincare Routine

I wasn't sure if the TheraFace Depuffing Wand would be a good addition to my skincare routine so I was hesitant to give I a try. I am admittedly terrible with consistency when it comes to using skincare tools especially if I don't truly see or feel real results in a reasonable amount of time. This one intrigued me because it offers both heat therapy and cold therapy. Because the preset treatment is for 6 minutes intended for you to use it for 3 minutes on each side of your face this is probably best to use during your night routine unless you tend to have sufficient time in the morning or if you plan to only use it for a shorter targeted treatment like the cold therapy for under eye darkness or puffiness. While the cold therapy feels nice on the skin and does give you a little does of wake me up I actually enjoy the heat therapy more. I feel like using the heat makes my skin absorb my serums and moisturizers better making my skin feel so much softer and better. I have been using almost every day and have truly enjoyed it. I do find that on dry skin it drags and does not easily glide on the skin so I either just move it in small slow taps versus gliding. Or to do the glide I will first apply a toner and an essence and then do the treatment before completing the rest of my routine. I mentioned that the cold therapy is nice but I'm less likely to use it as often since I don't see a ton of change in my under eye darkness and I don't have a lot of issues with puffiness except for those nights where I didn't get any sleep at all. Overall, it is a nice tool to have in your routine if for nothing else but the soothing of the skin when using it giving you a little quiet time to relax and reflect.

Soothing My Eye Sockets...No More Headaches...

My first thought was no way this can get cold enough or hot enough based on the size. This unit gets ice cold and hot enough to promote blood circulation. I mainly used this product in the cold mode. If you every watch boxing, you will see the cut man iron out the boxers swollen face with the metal press that is ice cold. This is the same concept without dripping melted ice all over the place. I often get headaches around the upper eye sockets. I have used this instead of a cold compress to feel better. For the past couple of weeks I have had dark circles and some swelling below the eyes. This has made my face looked more refreshed. Hours of staying up playing Call of Duty caught up! Pros: -Size can fit in your pocket -Gets ice cold -Gets warm not so hot that it is uncomfortable -Uses USB-C to charge (comes with cable) -You can use for more than depuffing Future Improvements: -Please include wall charger -Please make the battery user replaceable -Please sell the technology to a cpu cooler manufacturer -Include a silicon sleeve cover I want this tech in a neck cooler on those hot days.

I did not expect to see noticeable results in such a short period of use but after about 5 days of using the TheraFace Depuffing Wand, I did. The Wand is simple to use and the included instructions are helpful in explaining the different mode settings. I primarily used the cold settings for treatments but for a couple days I also used the warm settings when I did two treatments daily. For me, I found the coldest setting to get too cold and I primarily used it on the medium cold setting. (It was impressive how cold it got for such a small device!) I found the medium warm setting to be the most comfortable for me as well. The instructions state that the benefits of the warm treatments are increased circulation and reduced pain/tension. It additionally recommends doing a warm treatment before applying serums or moisturizers to increase absorption. I tested out the warm settings a couple days immediately after washing my face in the morning and I felt that it did help with absorption of my daily moisturizer. This time of year (winter) my skin gets uncomfortably dry and without proper application of a moisturizer, my makeup will look flaky in spots. On the days that I did warm treatments, I didn’t notice any spots on my face where my makeup looked flaky so the treatment did seem to help. The cold settings are said to decrease puffiness and inflammation. I did these treatments every day, focusing on the areas around my eyes. I have a bit of redness in my skin tone and I felt that the cold treatments really did help reduce it. As for puffiness I didn’t have any around my eyes to notice a change, but I do think the treatments would be successful in reducing it in a similar manner that a cold compress would. Overall, I think it is worthwhile to give the TheraFace Depuffing Wand a try to see if it benefits you. I was pleasantly surprised by my results and I think many others will feel the same way about theirs.

    Relax and Use The Wand

The Therabody Theraface Depuffing Wand has proven to be a handy tool in my skin care routine. The wand is easy to grip and fairly lightweight. I was so impressed with the rapid temperature changes from hot to cold or vice versa. Both settings feel amazing on the skin. The instructions say to use it on clean skin. However, I have found that it is not easy to glide the wand across your freshly washed skin without some sort of product underneath. I have begun to use this primarily at night after I put on my moisturizer. It is easy for me to moisturize and then take the wand with me to sit and relax and use it while I watch TV. Honestly, I have tried to use it while looking in the mirror for the full 6 minutes, and it is not an extra six minutes I want to add to my face routine. The wand will blink a few times when the 3-minute mark comes up so you know when to switch sides. To clean the tip, I use a soft cloth and some rubbing alcohol as per the instructions. It does improve the circulation and elasticity as well. My under-eye skin tone seems brighter and firmer. I think consistency will be the key to having really good results with this. The battery stayed charged for over a week and took about 1.5 hours to charge fully. While it is charging it will blink a blue light. When it is fully charged it will glow a solid green color. The charger that it comes with has a USB-C end on both sides. I do not like that at all. In the instructions, it recommends using the charging cable it came with, but I find it to be impractical for charging in the bathroom with USB-C ends. Otherwise, I really like the product and have enjoyed the overall skin tone improvements by perking my skin up with the cold temps and relaxing my facial muscles with the heated temps. An added bonus is how compact it is, it can go along with you conveniently if needed.

This TheraBody TheraFace Depuffing Wand is more than just a depuffing wand. This little handheld device is a great addition to my daily facial regimen. In the box is the TheraFace Depuffing Wand, charging cable, travel cap The TheraFace Depuffing Wand works to reduce under-eye puffiness and the dark circles too. After using it one time, I was hooked. I don’t go a day without using this at least twice if not 3 times in a day. The results are fantastic. The cold is really cold and stays cold. The hot feels so good on my face, especially when my sinuses are misbehaving. The hot stays hot. The hot setting is what I use before I moisturize. It just feels great. It helps your skin absorb the moisturizer. The wand helps to give your skin a radiant and renewed look. I have used various things on my eyes to get rid of puffiness in the mornings. I have tried cucumber slices, and various creams and such, but nothing has ever worked as well as this TheraFace Depuffing Wand. I love how you can switch from hot to cold and vice versa in a split second. Cleaning is easy too. Just wipe well with a damp cloth or a wipe that doesn’t contain alcohol or chemicals. Let it dry before use. This wand is not waterproof, so do not submerge it in water. I love this new beauty tool!

Right out of the box, I liked the Theraface Depuffing Wand for its sleek design. It is six inches in length and one and half inches in diameter, truly a small handheld device. It has both a cold and hot function. Each function has three settings, think cold, colder and coldest. For me, the coldest setting was bit too cold so I mostly used the “colder” or medium cold setting. I found it did reduce the puffing under my eyes. The Theraface Wand is charged via USB cable so it doesn’t have to be plugged in to be used. This is great, because I can use it while on my morning conference call. Perfect. While I wasn’t expecting to use the hot function, not only did I use it, it is the mode I prefer. The hot settings are hot, hotter and hottest. Again, I preferred the middle setting. The hot setting can be used over the entire face. The hot setting opens up the pores and is perfect to use before applying your daily face serum. When opening the box I was surprised there wasn’t a charging cable. It uses a standard USB charging cable so I figured I use one I had around the house. After a third check of the box, I found the charging cable! The box was so well packaged, I almost missed it. Picture added so you’ll know where to find the charging cable.

Gave this a s gift to my wife. Now, everyone in the family uses it. Might have to pick up another one when they go back on sale. If used daily, it really does do a good job in shrinking the bags under my eyes. My wife also agreed, she said she can see a difference. Its also nice that the tip is stainless steel, easy to clean and share.

I like this tool and use it daily. I like the hot to cold and cold to hot options. My only recommendation is to apply an eye cream such as Clinque All About Eyes before you use it. That cause it to glide on your skin and not pull on it. AGAIN-I LIKE IT A LOT. I don't use my quartz rollers any more.

I have only used it on cool settings for bags under my eyes and for headaches. This is very nice if you get headaches, it last about 6 minutes when using, then turns off. perfect time for each side of my face. The charge last for about 3 uses but charges quickly. Could be a little cheaper on price.
