This massage gun’s design makes it easier to use on yourself than some of the other ones I’ve seen. It’s quiet (about like an electrical toothbrush), and it comes with different attachments that you can use for different areas and types of massages. When I was looking for a massage gun, I wanted one that was powerful, quiet, and easy to use on myself. I’m loving it so far, and it has helped me release quite a bit of tension.

Excellent tool that performs like it says it will. It is very conveniently shaped for all sorts of holding angles and also quite reliable to use. Just one button to start it up and then then apply as needed. I have yet to go through the app because I have three injured limbs and have to be judicious in application to now. I really am glad that it has various attachments that allows for some variety in coverage and intensity. I am seeing an orthopedic surgeon and several therapists right now and I query them all about their opinions and advice on the theragun and so far they all give personal testimonies because they use them too. That is the best recommendation for me because these are some talented and competent folks.

Excellent deep tissue massage. It really works and very ergonomic. The quality is really well made and easy to use at different angles of your body. It’s self use don’t need another person to do it but it’s also good to have somebody do it for you specially on a pinpointed parts of your body. But a little pricey but worth the money.

First impression of the Theragun Elite was the “impeccable design, engineering, and quality construction.” Arrived in the Travel Case along with attachments and power adapter inside, nice case. Setup was simple, charged the battery to full and installed Therabody APP. After charging ran a firmware update then got down to the business of massaging! Using the Elite is intuitive, simply turn it on select the speed you desire and begin your massage session. Though to get the greatest benefit from the system you need to spend time in the APP discovering the Routines, especially those that fit your specific needs. Therabody APP system comes with numerous Massage Therapy Routines you may select from which operate and monitor your Elite massage progress. Each routine shows which attachment to use, how to grip the handle, time, increase pressure if needed, and illustrates specific motion/direction of massage. The APP includes a wide range of routines: - For You (Upper Back, Neck, Hamstring…) - Activities (Interval Training, Run, Recovery, High Intensity, Yoga…) - Body (glutes, quads, hip flexor, abs…) - Ailments (Plantar Fasciitis, Tech Neck, Jet Lag, Shin Splints….) These represent but a small sample of the numerous routine selections available within the APP. You can upload three massage/therapy routines you select from the APP to the Elite that can be run directly without your mobile. Bottom-line you can perform simple massages to therapeutic sessions. The Elite is the kind of massage system employed widely by sports and physical therapy professionals. The Elite employs the New “Quietforce Technology, meaning deep muscle relief at a volume closer to a whisper than a shout” The device is an immense improvement over previous massage units I have used, but not quite a whisper. It is still unquestionably the quietest massage and intense deep muscle massage you will find. Had personal massage therapist for years and can attest that the Elite deep muscle massage is spot on – hit a trigger point in lower back and sensation ran down full length of the leg to the foot. Wonderful. Good Stuff: - 120 minutes run time - Fast charging - USB seamless connection - Comfortable weight - Attachments If you are looking for a home device for daily or frequent use, I would offer that you give the Theragun a good look. It is exceptionally good.

It was this or the Hypervolt. Friend bought the Hypervolt I bought this. I use this on every workout before and after and days I don't workout. It's great warmup and a great recovery tool. With the multiple head attachments that it comes with it can hit a general or pinpoint a spot. As much as I use it I only charge it about once a week. Bluetooth and app capability is actually a great feature I wish I would use more often, especially for my recovery. I will say between this and the Hypervolt is noise, Hypervolt is a lot quieter, significantly. The great thing about the Theragun is the triangular handle, it does make a difference when you are going for those hard to reach place or to get a different pressure on an area. I would buy again espcially if they included the stand!

I've only owned this for a little over a week, but it is already made its way into my daily recovery routine. It's so easy to use, compact and quiet, that I can use it while watching TV or others in a quiet room without annoying them or having to turn volumes up (much). The triangle handle makes it really easy to reach different parts of my body. The 40lbs of stall pressure are plenty enough for me to really dig in and hit those trouble spots. I'm a fairly muscular guy at 5'10"/200lbs. I'm still learning to use it, and the attachments, to their full potential. Out of the box, it's pretty simple. Turn it on and enjoy! I highly recommend saving some cash and buying the Elite unless you are going to use this in a professional setting or there are a group of people that will be using the same one.

Very versatile machine. I’ve been using this for years now and it makes recovery and soreness much more navigable. This thing doesn’t die and the battery is no joke. The different head attachments can be used for all sorts targeted areas from generally large patches of muscle to finer, more precise spots of soreness. If you are training a lot or deal with a lot of soreness from a physically straining job, this machine will help you recover and ease out those tense spots.

It will beat your... flesh. The bluetooth function is pretty much worthless. The attachments are nice for pinpointing muscles. The charge port is going to be it's weakness. Why go with an old school DC pin adapter when usb C is very capable of handling the power needs, this is so you can lose the plug and get nailed on replacing it. It's very overpriced for what it is but it does work so you gotta decide. I really hate the power cord though. I might have bought the next model up for wireless charging but that's just way too expensive for what this thing does. I might wait till it's out of warranty and upgrade the charging electronics myself. Hopefully when it breaks it's still covered by geek squad and they update the charger to be more "environmentally e-waste friendly"

Me wife spotted this when we were in the store. The price was a bit high but given what we now know, it is justified. When you have a physical job and you are sore from lifting or climbing, this really helps soothe the muscle pain. The different massage heads allow you to switch from your back to a smaller surface like your feet. The long lasting battery life is the most impressive feature. I didn’t question whether the device would work but being battery powered made me wonder how much use you would get from it before it died. I find a full charge can easily last a whole week if you’re using it daily. We’ve even gone longer with lighter use.

I have an insanely tight IT band thanks to years in retail and doing labor-intensive work. This thing released the concrete-level tightness in my leg within a minute of use, which hasn’t happened since I had physical therapy for it two years prior. I’ve used it a total of about 20 minutes and have already had two major knots in my back release, that I’ve had for years. Best investment I’ve ever made. Thumb attachment is my personal favorite. It does overheat with too much use but has a smart feature that turns it off when needed. The app is pretty awesome and is completely personalized based on your needs. It’s like having a masseuse right at home. I can even reach harder spots with the way it’s designed. I’ve written probably less than 5 reviews for products in my entire life, but this one merits it. Wow. This isn’t a splurge, it’s a wellness investment.

Bought as a gift for my husband who works long hours on his feet all day and he's obsessed with it. The different tips are useful depending on where you need to focus on your body, and the different speeds have really helped. The guided massages in the app are actually pretty nice as well and I've done these a few times before going for a run to warm up my muscles. Battery life is also surprisingly good even with multiple uses in a day. It was showing low battery so I let it go to see how long it would last and it was still a few days before it finally died and needed recharged.

I have had multiple TheraGuns and MassageGuns. Hyperice is a great brand, however, the TheraGun is just a step ahead with all the different attachments and the power that it brings. Spending money on a good MassageGun makes a heck of a difference. If you truly use this on a consistent basis, there is no need to see a Massage Therapist or get pain massages. This thing does wonders. I am an endurance athlete that does winter and summer sports at a pretty decent level, and this thing keeps me in tip-top shape.

    Great Massage Gun for Runners

This is an incredible massage gun for runners that you can use to supplement your foam rolling. It's great for getting out the hard to reach knots that a foam roller can't tackle alone. I have found that I have tight calves, a tight TFL, and tight IT bands. It can be so painful to roll everything out, but the Theragun Elite helps me stay with my stretching and foam rolling routine for longer. There are also preset warm up drills that you can follow depending on what exercises you are doing. Last but not least, it comes with a travel bag that has been incredibly helpful when you want to run while you travel. 10/10 would recommend for any athlete. The extra travel bag is worth the upgrade to the Elite!

Wow. I didn't want to get this at first, as it is pricey - but it is completely worth it. I messed up my back working out and when to a Chiropractor. They wanted to charge me a ton for some simple guiding exercises that my wife could easily do. So instead, we picked this up and within two days, I was feeling back to normal. The battery charges fast and lasts a while. The different speeds are incredible and this gun feels amazing. If you are in pain, sore or a general athlete, this gun is for you.
