This thing is a beast. We've had the random $35 massager for about a year. It was fine but it wasn't really powerful enough to do sustained massage. Enter Therabody. Yea, it's way more expensive but it's worth it. It's adjustable which makes it much more convenient to use on yourself. It's easier to hold, its battery lasts and lasts, and (fair warning) it'll beat the heck out of you. That might be the ONLY negative: even at its lowest setting, you probably can't use it on your most sensitive areas.

I was having hip and lower spine pain that took me from being mobile and able body to sitting or laying down all day for about 1.5 months. I tried stretches, medication, creams, heating pads, ice, modified exercises, buying supportive furniture. The hip pain felt like a sharp burning sensation and the spine pain felt like a sharp electrical pain and pinching. The pain in my spine started to make me nauseous. I kept seeing theragun pro in my Instagram timeline ads and listened to the relief it brought others. I purchased it on a desperate whim. After the first use I was in tears, not from pain for the first time but from relief. After my first use I gained back around 60-70% of my mobility and and my pain went from a excruciating 10 to a semi manageable 4. I continued use every other day until I started to feel better. I’m now at, in my own opinion, 95% mobility and a 1 for pain, it being almost nonexistent anymore. Afterwards, I started to wonder, was $700 worth it? Yes. But is it still worth it now that I feel better? And the answer is YES. I use it now to stay in good working condition but after my recovery I now use it on relatives for everything like arthritis, post workout, after playing competitive sports, daily aches and pains, growing pains, increasing circulation, headache/migraine, heel pain, neck pain, back pain, leg pain. Honestly, the uses are endless. I highly recommend for anyone who has soreness, stiffness, chronic pain or just wants to stay flexible and keep muscles in good working shape.

Amazing THERAGUN Pro!! Glad I decided to get it finally because it is pricey so I wasn’t sure but it’s worth every penny. Easy to use and extremely powerful if you’re in a need of a really thorough deep massage.

Due to its handle it’s very comfortable to hold, you can barely feel vibrations, and it reaches more spots. Def worth the $100 more than the competition’s pro model for that reason. Removable/swappable batteries + a spare make this worth the extra $ vs the Elite model, let alone the extra stall force.

My Chiropractor recommended this. I went from taking pain killers daily for a collapsed vertebrae in my back. Between my therapy and the theragun in the past 5 weeks, I’m off meds and on the road for recovery! This theragun is magic and a blesssing. With a 5 minute session, my pain disappears completely for hours. Don’t buy the cheap guns, this thing is designed to penetrate deep and fixes you right up! I HIGHLY recommend! It’s worth every cent.

Best Message gun! I’ve been in pain for months and this device helped me relieve tension and stress. I bought a $150 message gun from Amazon and this doesn’t even come close to it. Much more force and longer battery life. Best $600 I’ve spent.

The theragun pro is nice to get into those deep tissue sores or pains. I got some glass feet and i use this on the back of my heel to really get into the pain. After a good 10 minute session on both feet it helps to relief the pain. You can change the tip heads for the softness or hardness or the shape of the tip to your liking. I wish i had this when i was working out a few years back. I could have really used it when my legs were sore from hitting glutes and quads. The product comes with 5 addition interchangeable heads, plus the one already on the theragun. An additional lithium battery, and charging dock.

An essential tool for muscle / body well-being

Verdict: The Theragun Pro is awesome! The total package is everything you need; battery life is amazing; and the noise level is unobtrusive for most situations. Initial impressions. I had been eyeing one of these for a while now, but never pulled the trigger. After receiving the Theragun Pro, I am realizing how much I missed out in terms of muscle prep, muscle recovery, and injury therapy. I keep thinking about how the Theragun could have helped my year-long recovery from a rotator cuff tear and subsequent impingement pain. The price for the “Pro” version is significant, but I would say that what you get is well worth the money. When unboxing the Theragun, I was continuously impressed with the whole system. First it is packaged beautiful, and conveys a premium feel and ultra-quality. Then, the contents of the package leave nothing wanting: the carrying case is beautiful and functional; two batteries provide ample charge; and the various attachment will address any therapy requirements you may have. Setup. Setup is very easy… just slide a battery in and press the button to turn on the Theragun. The instructions are clear and eliminate any confusion. My batteries arrived partly charged so I could start using it immediately while the second battery charged. Changing the attachment tips is quick and easy by just pulling them off the percussion rod firmly. App. I also immediately downloaded the Theragun app to customize the use of the Theragun for specific activities and for specific muscle groups. While the app is well made and it easily connected with the Theragun, I was a little disappointed with the “routine” offerings within the app. Perhaps it is because the app is new and more content will be added later. I was also disappointed that I could not reduce the speed of the Theragun when inside of a session in the app. I understand the session aims to guide you through specific actions, but if the speed of the gun is too high because of tender muscle or an injury, I would like the option to still follow the program in the routine, but at a reduced speed! Given the lack of routines in the app, I turned to YouTube which has a ton of videos on how to use it on different muscles, so that was an easy fix until the app improves. The app also keeps the Theragun software up to date, with two completed updates in just the first week of ownership. Noise Level. Upon turning on the Theragun for the first time, noise level never crossed my mind, which leads me to think that the noise level in general is widely acceptable. To test the limits of the noise level, I walked into my wife’s office when she was on a work call, and I turned it on… She gave me a glare… So, it is too loud to use if you are on an important phone call. I also turned on the Theragun when the family was watching a movie and no one even looked up, so I was able to use it for 30 min while we watched a movie without annoying anyone. Ultimately, the gun is not quiet per se, but it is not loud by any means. I find the noise level absolutely acceptable, even for an extended time and using it near the ears (I use it extensively on my shoulders and neck). And if you are noise sensitive, the tradeoff of potential noise for a powerful commercial motor that can handle up to 60 lbs of pressure is well worth it. Attachments. The Theragun Pro includes six attachments: supersoft (for sensitive areas), dampener (for tender or bony areas), standard ball (for any muscle group), wedge (for shoulder blades and IT bands), thumb (for trigger points and lower back), and cone (for pinpoint muscle treatment). The attachments make the Theragun an incredibly powerful therapy tool to target any muscle group, issue, or injury. I use the dampener, wedge, and thumb the most. Features. The Theragun Pro features adjustable speeds (1750, 1900, 2100, 2200, 2400 percussions per minute), adjustable percussion angles to use it effectively on any part of your body, one pre-loaded program that rotates through all the speeds continuously, lots of attachments, and a good app. The OLED screen actually shows you the level of pressure you are applying when using the Theragun, which is really useful when using it on other people. The app will also display the amount of pressure used, and when inside of a routine, the app will tell you to apply more pressure when needed. The weight of the Theragun was never brough up by the family, including my wife and teen daughter, indicating to me that the weight is not an issue at all. The ergonomic triangle-shaped handle allows many different grips to position the Theragun just write; this is one of the greatest features of this tool. As the “pro” label implies, this percussion gun will do it all and comes with all. I have been using it for hours a day for more than a week now, and there is nothing more I could ask from a percussion gun (but please add more routines in the app… there is significant untapped potential there). Things I like: - It looks sleek and beautiful, and the overall system is nicely packaged with a carrying case - While the carrying case doesn’t have slots for every item that came with the same, everything does fit in the case, including the charger and all the attachments - Incredibly useful ergonomic triangle-shaped handle - Attachments that allow you to use the Theragun for all purposes - Built-in versatility with adjustable angles means you can use it anywhere on the body by yourself - Adjustable speeds allow you to use the Theragun for pre-workout, post-workout, injury recovery, relaxation, etc. - The noise level is absolutely acceptable. It has never been an issue during use, or a characteristic that was noticed by members of the family during normal everyday use - The app adds nice features, and packs unlimited potential for the future use of the Theragun - Long battery life: 300 min, and you can charge a battery while using the other one, so really, you could go all day non-stop. Things I don’t like: - The app should include more routines and other programs for injury recovery, pre-workout routines for specific sports, post-workout for specific sports, etc. Overall, the Theragun Pro is a phenomenal tool for athletes, and for general care and relaxation. I can’t speak about the other versions of the Theragun, but I can say that if you can afford the Theragun Pro, it is well worth it in my opinion. Considering the whole household wants to use every day and loves it, the Theragun easily rates five stars.

    Best Massage Device Ever!!

To start, I received this product and was amazed at the quality of packaging, I love the feel of the travel case as well as the build quality and feel of everything else included. I love that it has two swappable batteries which supposedly can last 300 minutes total, and the extra attachments feel excellent. The device build quality and feel are way better than other massage guns I've used in the past, the weight of the device isn't bad and super comfortable to hold onto and grip. The attachments are able to be cleaned easily and just I can't get over how amazing and comfortable they feel. This device can be customized for different speed settings which is really just 5 speeds but the only thing I would want is maybe for it to go slower but the speeds are perfect. I love the OLED screen that also tells you how much pressure you're applying to your body. The other thing this device has that no other massage gun I have used before is an app that you can use alongside with it, you can do firmware updates and select different routines to use and store up to three different presets so you don't have to use your phone if you don't want to. It took me awhile to finally be able to log into the app and it definitely needs work to get all the bugs out but overall I am very happy with this product, it already has gotten a knot out of my shoulder which has been there for a week. The one other downside is the NOISE, I have never owned a Theragun before but have used the older Pro model at a Chiropractor and to me the noise level may have improved compared to that model but to me it definitely is louder than an electric toothbrush like the advertisements say online. While the noise isn't too bad it doesn't bother me, I feel like it is an improvement and I am happy with the loudness it has. I did a video to show how loud it can be but it won't let me upload videos. I did a comparison to another massage device and they both sounded the same when they both were on the highest setting however, in the low setting of the other device it was noticeably much quieter compared to this Theragun. I used the product for quite some time on my body and I never noticed any overheating or smells so I would say the components of the motor are well built. I love the battery gauge on the OLED screen and how quickly the batteries charged when I first charged them from receiving the product. The price of the product is pretty high compared to others but what you're getting with the quality of build, components, and technology this thing will last a very long time, I highly recommend this product to anyone who has thought about getting one, it works well for massages for friends and loved ones too.
