A pricey but high quality and powerful massage gun

I have another off-brand massage gun that cost a fraction of the cost of the Theragun PRO, and it's easy to recognize the difference in intensity and overall quality. The Theragun PRO is powerful and solid. I appreciate the ergonomic design and the adjustable arm that allows you to reach more areas more effectively. This massage gun comes with two batteries, so you never have to run out of power, and each battery lasts numerous uses. I haven't used the app yet, but it is Bluetooth enabled, which allows you to view customized wellness routines based on your usage. I can't say whether the Theragun PRO is worth the high price, but I can say that it works flawlessly and will soothe tired and sore muscles for years and years.

So I love this thing! It's so much better than the Chinese knock offs. The articulating arm is an added plus from the other Theraguns. I also like the fact that it comes with 2 batteries. Although the batteries seem to wear sooner than the 2 hours life I think it had been advertised. The only drawback is I would say that it's loud. I mean loud where you need to be in another room if your wife is watching a movie in the bedroom and you decide you want to use it. It is also big so not portable. But I know expected it to be big. Also, the stall force is 60psi so you can't beat that!!

This Theragun massage gun offers a powerful and customizable percussion therapy experience. With multiple speed settings and interchangeable attachments, it caters to various muscle needs. Its ergonomic design enhances usability, though some may find it noisy. The device effectively targets muscle soreness and tension, making it a valuable tool for post-workout recovery. While the price is relatively high, the Theragun's performance justifies the investment for those prioritizing advanced percussion therapy. I have recommended this to my family and friends

Does one need a fancy massage device? After using one, I think so. First off, the Theragun Pro come well packed in a fancy box. Very minimalist approach but very nice looking. In the box, you get the carrying case with batteries/Theragun, smaller carrying case with additional tips as well as charging dock/cables. All in all, pretty simple and has everything you need to get started. I have leg/back muscle stiffness pretty frequently and would really liked to have a massage every now and then to loosen up the muscles. A bit expensive habit so I a hand held massager is the next best thing. After using it on my legs for about 10 minutes, I could already feel better. Leg muscles felt looser and just felt better. I tried this on my arms as well and, again, just a more relaxed feel and less stiffness in my muscles. This is after only a short period so as I get to use this progressively more and more, I have no doubt that my muscles will thank me for this thing. This has a pivoting head which goes from a 90 degree angle to 180 degree angle (flat). It seemed to work well in most instances however, when trying to get my upper back, I couldn't really find a good angle this would work in. I'm sure if you had someone else working the Theragun then it wouldn't be an issue. Also, when you get into weird angles, the device can be awkward to hold sometimes. Charging time on batteries is fairly quick I'd say. And with two batteries included, you're sure to have power whenever you need it. While I've never used a hand held massager before, I can say this is fairly quiet as well. I wanna say it's less noisier than a cordless power drill. It won't keep your significant other up at night however you will know if someone is using it if that helps out any. Overall, not terribly noisy at all. Seeing as my muscles are quite relaxed now, I can say this is definitely worth it. The extra tips that are included are also a nice bonus. However, unless you've used one of these for awhile or know what you're doing, I'd stay away from the cone one for a awhile. Little bit of sting whenever I used that one.

I waffled on purchasing this for a year, because it’s just so dang expensive. But now I’m so happy I did. Once I finally made the tough decision to drop the loads of cash it took to purchase this, I was afraid I would either hate it, regret it or worse, never use it. So I went in with the mindset of worst case, I try it for the 45 days elite plus membership affords me and just return it if I find I don’t use it frequently enough to justify the high price. As it turns out, the whole family loves this thing! Absolutely zero regrets. We use it practically every day. I suffer from shin splints whenever I jog or walk longer distances at a brisk pace and this has been wonderful compared to rolling them out with a stick. I also get a somewhat frequent cramp in my inner thigh and this has eliminated that as well. As soon as I feel it coming on I use this on the muscle group and after a painful few minutes the cramp is stamped out. Mainly purchased for those two reasons but I’ve found myself spending nearly an hour on my legs only to use it for another half hour on my forearms and biceps. Recently went on a trip and decided to leave it at home and dreadfully missed it after going on a couple hikes. This will travel with me from now on. Nothing feels better then massaging my calves after a long day climbing ladders and standing all day in work boots on a construction site. Or after a workout or run. Love it, and am going to invest in the double head adapter and more heads. Would definitely buy again. Observations: Never used any previous rendition of this brand but it is pretty loud. I have to really turn the volume up on the tv to hear it over the massager. It is also fairly heavy and the carrying case has no room for the attachments. I’ve used for around an hour and a half in one go (at 1700, lowest setting) and battery still had around 40% charge left. Two battery setup is convenient if multiple people want to use in succession Swiveling head is nice but I’ve found I rarely change positions The app is fairly helpful but I almost never use it One of my favorite purchases in recent memory

    More for a professional therapist

It’s bulky, I get sore from work and wanted to have something I could carry with me where ever, but this is pretty big and there’s no where to hide it if you plan on leaving in your car unless you bring a blanket to cover it. It’s pretty heavy, while holding this reaching for certain spots on my back kinda does a number on my forearms and I have to keep switching arms. It’s also kind of loud, I live with family and trying to use this daily is hard without feeling like I am bothering someone. The app is kind of gimmicky, it works ok and it is good to help you time your massage, but connecting to it every time and going through menus to pick out basic areas of interest is too time consuming. It also only has general areas, not specific muscles like serratus anterior. All the instructions are is a picture of where to target in circular motion, very vague, not necessary to keep opening after first use. if you don’t change the battery every use, you will find an instance where you run out of batteries and didn’t bring the extra battery with you, unless you always carry all the supplies with you, or just leave all the stuff at home. The super soft extension is good for very sore areas, but if you aren’t, you can barely feel it. The other extensions are nice to experiment with, but they all feel pretty similar. Sometimes when I try to deep massage myself, the tool also kind of gets stuck inside the skin and feels like it’s just vibrating back and forth instead of beating the muscle like you’d want. The pressure sensor is not exactly reliable. It tells you how much resistance is going against the motor, but if your pressing on a thicker muscle it won’t register bars as easily. It’s not a bad tool, it’s just not very personal. It would be great to use on other people, for a professional massage artist or chiropractor. The design is cool looking, the way it was constructed is high quality. Just looking at it you can tell it’s an expensive device. I had quite a bit of fear it would get stolen if I carried it around every where. I want to say more positive things about this, I can tell the creator of this really put good effort into making this, but I think the points I mentioned are worth thinking about before buying. The theragun mini was a much better personal therapy tool.

HAVING TRIED OTHER MASSAGE GUNS & HUMAN MASSAGERS WHO CAN DO BUT SO MUCH & BARELY FEELING ANY RELIEF, THERAGUN IS OUTSTANDING!! IT WORKS OUT ANY KINKS & SORENESS EXPERIENCED. THE POWER IS POTENT & NECESSARY. IT MAY BE A BIT HEAVY FOR FIRST TIMERS AS IT TAKES GETTING USED TO SO BE CAREFUL WITH YOUR WRISTS & USE OVERALL CAUTION. THE SWIVEL ARM HELPS TO TARGET THOSE HARD TO REACH PLACES THE COMPETITION CANT GET TO. INTERCHANGEABLE HEADS HELP TO FOCUS ON THE AREAS IN NEED. ALTHOUGH I HAVE TO CHARGE IT OFTEN SINCE I USE IT AT LEAST TWICE A DAY, IT COMES WITH 2 BATTERIES SO AS I USE ONE THE OTHER IS CHARGING. ALTHOUGH THE PRICE MAY BE STEEP FOR MANY, IT DEFINITELY IS WORTH IT WHEN YOU CAN USE IT AS OFTEN AS YOU LIKE & GET ACTUAL RELIEF!! THIS IS THE BEST MONEY I’VE SPENT!!

Was sceptical about buying at first, but every penny is worth it. Travel case extra batteries, ect. But the releif of pain after constant work is just amazing. Theres different atrachments included for every part of your body. Lower back, hands, neck, ect and the way that its made you can hit just about any part of your back by yourself. Now i dont have to annoy my girlfreind and ask her to rub my back all the time. 10 out of 10

The Theragun truly is a game-changer. The battery life is decent. I ordered the red one, which looks great. The attachments are great additions. I’ve been utilizing the gun as an a pre-warmup and post-workout tool to boost my blood flow. Although pricy, it’s definitely a quality investment. Will continue to use it for years to come

If I could give this 10 stars I would. This thing helped saved my back. As well as other areas. It’s Helping rebuild my posture also helped with keeping my headaches/migraines to a minimal. Price is steep but I promise you this is a better investment than other body care products. My own Pros and cons Pros Very ergonomic and has an adjustable head vs the other models for Theragun the head isn’t adjustable. Comes with a good amount of accessories and a nice carrying case for it all. Quality is excellent has a good weight to it. Comes with 2 batteries. Unlimited pressure range Fast charging batteries Cons (but not really) Depending on your therapy sessions if you are hitting your muscle at the highest speed with a good amount of force the battery will drain a good amount but that’s expected. Unit is heavy for some people. I’d recommend the elite if this will be an issue. Louder than the other models they have. The elite model will solve that for you. Impact is stronger than the other models. Definitely not recommend for beginners. Theragun mini is a good one to start unless you’re used to super strong deep tissue massages. And I mean DEEP! I’m trying to remember if I missed anything. Our family owns the Pro, Elite and the mini model. I’ve been recommending and still recommend it. Helped with posture, sciatica, arthritis, migraines, and lower back issues.

We've had similar massage guns, but this one has been the best. The variable speeds and the ability to change the direction of the wand helps get into areas (upper back) that one can't normally reach on their own. The batteries last long as well. Just be sure to give them time to charge the first time as they do take a bit.

As you would expect, the Pro model is a complete package and includes two rechargeable batteries. The device itself is a quality piece and solid. Runs smoothly and quietly and is easy to use if perhaps a bit heavy. I’ve just used it for a week or so, and it seems to help relieve muscle stiffness and soft tissue soreness but I’ve not had that Eureka moment just yet.

Purchased this for a gift at Christmas gor my wife. Really does a great job working out those sore muscles. Has an app to show you how to use this. I found that you don’t have to spend hour working out tough knots. This is a great device after working out or just a heavy day at work.
