Great tool to massage and stimulate blood flow!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.A little backround - my wife has had issues with blood flow to her right leg since a surgery to remove a kidney several years ago. This causes her much pain and limits how much she is able to walk. Enter the Theragun - we never thought this would help us as much as it has! With the Covid 19 lockdowns, we have been unable to get out and get massages, which helps her leg issues and the knots I get in my shoulders from stress. This tool has allowed us to do our own massages at home and we feel great! My wife massages her entire leg area herself and she is able to get around much better throughout the day. She uses the device on my shoulders and upper back and the tension just melts away! The device is very quiet, much less noise than I have heard from previous version that a friend of mine has - a big plus! It includes two batteries , a charger, and several specialized heads which allow you to make more precise or larger massage points. The travel case is a nice plus! I'd recommend this to anyone who has isolated circulation issues or just loves a good massage !

How did I live without this?!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have been very happy with this massager! I have never used a device like this before, now I don't think I will be able to live without one! The entire kit is well made and comes in a nice carrying case. The inclusion of two batteries is very nice. It feels very solid and sturdy in your hand. Certainly doesn't feel like a toy. When you are using it, it feels kinda like you are using a handheld blender :-) And that is kinda what it sounds like as well. The noise level isn't bad at all. Yes, it makes noise (anything kicking along at 2400rpm is going to make noise) but it's not bad. I can easily use this while watching tv and still hear the tv just fine. Connecting it to the app on my phone works nice. The bluetooth connection is solid. The ability to have the app control the massage pattern based on the desired need is brilliant. Really makes getting a proper targeted massage easy. I am really impressed with the results. I have constant back issues becasue of my job. After a couple of days of using this in the evenings before bed I can honestly say my back feels much better and I sleep better. Experiment with the various massage heads. You will be surprised how much of a differance they can make. You really can't go wrong with this massager!

Came with two batteries that don’t work.
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I give the massage gun itself 5 stars. But after unboxing everything neither battery will charge and will last 10 seconds before shutting off after fully charging both batteries. You would think you get what you pay for but in this case it was definitely not worth it and a replacement battery is $50 a piece. I would not recommend the product especially for the price.

Works but was hoping to have lower percussion.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Yes i realize its intended for muscle recovery but was also hoping the percussion would have been able to slow down much more than it currently does

Quality control issues, no support from theragun
||Posted . Owned for 9 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Good at what it does, but serious quality control issues. Mine is defective and theragun won't replace or fix. Both of my batteries don't hold a charge, and the battery didn't sit flush in the gun. I don't know if my batteries, charger or gun is the culprit. Theragun's idea of a remedy is to make me buy parts like batteries to see if it fixes the issue. I find it coincidental that both batteries had the same issue right out of the gate.

Worked for about 10 days then useless - returned
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This worked great for the initial battery charge, but BOTH the batteries failed to recharge and so we could no longer use the Theragun. We switched to Hypervolt and found it to be much lighter and easier to use and it recharges very fast.

BBuy/theragun pro no common sense with logistics
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If you deliver a product same day around Christmas, what makes you think it’s a good idea to leave on front porch, not covered in a shipping box or a bag. This was supposed to be a surprise.

Amazing, Quiet, Helped fix my Plantar Fasciitis
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Theragun Pro is amazing. And even the word amazing doesn't do it justice. I would call it miraculous. I will share more on that later. Important to note this is the Theragun Pro model. It's the top of the line with a quality case, 2 batteries, 6 attachments, and a rotating arm to make it easier to reach those hard to get to places - especially on your back. Sound-wise, the noise from Theragun Pro is much better than expected. At the lowest setting (1750) it's about the ambient noise of a desktop fan. Speed is measured in something called PPM or Percussions Per Minute. Basically the number of times it massages you. In simple terms, I have used the Thumb attachment to massage near my neck and the noise is more than OK. Theragun calls this "QuietForce Technology" and having only in-store tested a previous model, it's definitely quieter than previous models. My personal optimal comfort level for the Theragun massage is 1750 and even at the top speed it's not loud and there have been no complaints from others in my home when I use it. It's also infinitely quieter than any percussive treatment that I have had at a doctor. Using the Theragun is straight forward, charge the batteries, insert one, turn it on and massage away. Swapping the massage heads or adjusting the arm is easy. FYI the arm has 4 positions which means you can reach everywhere. The Theragun is well built and has a quality feel to it. The benefit of the Theragun Pro is that it has Bluetooth and can be paired with the free Theragun app. The Theragun App is called "Therabody" (just in case you can't find it on the app store). The app also now says Theragun is called Therabody - so worth noting that this review applies to the Theragun and the Therabody if they change the name of the actual device. The app requires registration to set up and then has "routines" which are guided instructions on various treatments. You can also load up to 3 preset treatments from your phone to the Theragun. There's a library of Theragun presets in the app. You access them by moving left/right on the device controls and the LCD screen shows a I, II or III. Preset treatments automatically adjust the PPM. Also, FYI, on my first use, there was a firmware update for the Theragun Pro. I'm not sure what the firmware update did but it takes a few minutes to download and install. Finally, I want to share my personal story is I suffer chronic plantar fasciitis. If you don't know what that is or means, it's a VERY painful foot condition suffered by runners. Some days I can barely walk and the pain can prevent me from sleeping. I have spent more time and money with doctors treating it than I would like to admit. Injections, physical therapy, pain medications, and even 6 months in a foot brace. I was previously resigned to a life that would either require constant pain, pain medications, or surgery - none of which I wanted. The Theragun Pro has changed everything for me for the better. I don't know if my plantar fasciitis is cured, but after a few days of use, I am pain-free. I can walk freely, rotate my ankle, and I honestly can't believe how amazing the difference is. I would call it a miracle cure. In fact, percussive treatment is common for plantar and I have previously paid professionals a small fortune for it every few months. With the Theragun, I can now do treat my plantar at home, with my personal routine being a few minutes each morning and evening with the Theragun. This alone makes the Theragun value for money. In short, the pain-free life and benefits make the Theragun more than worth the investment. I honestly can't say enough about how happy being pain-free has made me and I just want to say thank you to Theragun. I definitely recommend this and would go as far as to endorse it if Theragun asked. It's made that much of a difference. I love the Theragun Pro and the difference it has made to my life so much that I am now thinking of buying the Theragun mini, the portable travel version so that I have one with me to always keep my plantar fasciitis under control. Honestly, if you're suffering chronic or acute pain, especially if you suffer Plantar Fasciitis, then the Theragun more than pays for itself. Just buy it. Seriously. it will cost you less than multiple doctor visits. And to Theragun - if you ever read this. THANK YOU for making a great massage device.

My wife is a certified massage therapist. C+
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. She likes this device, but her major complaint is it doesn’t have a slow, deep rub function. It’s too “wham bam thank you ma’am” in her opinion. For sports related issues and pinched nerves, it works pretty well. Attachments selection and two batteries are great. The design is excellent. Heavy unit, beautiful storage case, adjustable arm... it’s definitely a well presented piece of technology. App gives you a lot of options on how you want the massage, and the motor is quiet enough that you can use it without having to blast the volume on your music or tv show. It gets VERY HOT after 15 or so minutes. Burnt my skin twice when trying to position the head and accidentally touched the attachment post. It’s called “Pro” but I think it’s a few features short of professional. The previously mentioned slower power massage, Better Bluetooth connection (mine kept disconnecting), and a way to store app programming as preselected routines on the massager at the touch of a button. It’s a good machine, but It’s missing a few key ingredients that keep it from being a pro unit. At the msrp, I’d expect a few more bells and whistles. It is better than most massage units on the market now, but this is too focused on a narrow range of sports clientele. Also, nothing in the instructions say whether it can be used with massage therapy oils. I have very dry skin, and sometimes the fast moving head would pull or tug on skin in a painful way that could have been reduced if a massage oil was used. Just some suggestions, Theragun.

Great for sore muscles, but not for lumbar pain
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I got this in the hopes that it would be helpful for my lower lumbar pain. Unfortunately it it not really offer any relief. This is not to say that you should not get one, but if you are looking for pain assistance with lumbar pain, this is not it. Luckily, I do exercise and do experience muscle aches and pains. The Theragun is amazing for those achy muscles. First the unit is very well built and feels as though it will withstand the rigors of daily use. The unit has an app that connects via Bluetooth that provides different levels of massage and routines. Connecting was pretty easy and once connected it is easy to set up routines and get that deep massage going. It has a very powerful motor and it can be a little surprising at first, but you get used to it quickly. Overall my experience was positive, and I would recommend this for relief of muscle aches and pains.
