Our old cooktop was a Thermador and was installed in 2003, so we decided to stick with the same brand when we switched to induction. We were pleased to learn that the cut out has not changed so the new unit fit perfectly into the counter top. We hesitated over the price but fell for the mirror finish and took the plunge. We are delighted with the Masterpiece. The looks are stunning but more importantly the performance is top notch. The controls are intuitive, I have hardly glanced at the instructions. The pot sensors are very useful. The instant control of heat is as good as a gas stove but clean up is so much easier! Our All Clad pots and pans work perfectly with induction. We are very satisfied.
