I’ve been dreaming of having a steam oven for years. It’s finally a reality. The Thermador double oven is so versatile and user friendly. And cooks wonderfully. Thanks to the BestBuy crew for making our purchase so easy!

The Thermador Professional double wall oven took forever to arrive but was worth the wait. I have been alternatingly daunted and delighted as I explore all its wonderful features. Some of the simple ones were a surprise, like the doors, which are so well insulated they do not get hot. Also the motors are so quiet I thought at first the convection feature was not working and had to check by opening the door. Speaking of opening the door, it is also nice to turn on the light in the oven without opening the door. A wonderful feature that my cat Downi loves is Speed Convection, which is especially good for frozen foods. It does not require preheating but still cooks in the time stated on the package. So I can turn on the oven, insert the food right away, and sit with my wine and my cat and not have to disturb her to put in the food after the oven gets hot. There is a lot more to explore, like steam cooking, where you actually put water into a receptacle in the side of the oven. But tonight I used the built-in rotisserie, which was one of the things that made us willing to cough up the extra price of this model. The chicken turned out juicy and tender, and the skin was brown and crisp. Can't wait to do a rib roast the next time we celebrate a special occasion! PS The reason my attention was drawn to this upscale appliance in the first place was that it actually has KNOBS in addition to an electronic display, which means my visually impaired husband can turn it on and off. Yay!

Oven works great and find i do use the steam oven alot. It makes leftovers tast fresh. Definitely was a good purchase

I LOVE this double oven. It has a WiFi setting, which is extremely helpful, and the steam over is awesome for reheating things without drying them out. They do get a little hotter than I was expecting so we tend to use the upper oven more (we have small kids).

Great functionality and precision to the max. Very very heavy, needed ingenuity and 3 people for install. I don’t really like that the oven doesn’t say which knobs are for the lower oven or the upper, but otherwise amazing. Excited for all the baking we will do in this beauty.took forever to get and there was poor communication between Best Buy and us along with ever changing delivery dates.

This is my favorite appliance. The steam oven works so well with heating up leftovers! I don't miss my microwave one bit!

At times the oven resets w/o warning. I am not sure if this is due to a loss of wifi signal vs an electrical defect. If this happens, you have to manually restart the oven and this causes a delay in cooking, especially if you are not around when the oven "sporadically" goes off.

We are extremely happy with our Thermador double wall ovens. Tried the steamer option and it works well. Baking is very efficient - gets done quickly - good insulation and heating compared to our old GE monogram.

Excellent product with exceptional oven controls. We love the steam oven and have already used both ovens simultaneously. Can’t be happier with this!
