This hard drive was very easy to install. It works great in my computer.

This is my second Thermaltake USB 3.0 Hard Drive Dock. It works well on both windows and Mac. I am an IT admin and I use this product daily to with macOS Time Machine and 4TB drive. I also use it to access drives for our company's Windows systems.

The device installs automatically on the initial plug, and it takes a few minutes to complete. After the installation, the device is a breeze to use. It’s simple and works exactly how you would expect it to. I highly recommend this product.

Had a catastrophic drive failure. Was able to install a new drive and retrieve all my important data from two old drives. Was super easy to use. Setup was a snap. One and done. I keep it upside down on desk when not in use to keep dust out.

If you have a hard-drive that is sitting out of it's case then you need a docking station or something similar to read your files. This docking station does just that and you don't have to worry about your hard-drive falling out of said station or getting damaged. This station locks down your hard-drive and connects easily to your computer. The price is a bit much, but you are getting 2 docking stations. I've tried to run both docking stations, however, I wasn't able to pull up both devices. It might be do to the fact one of my hard-drives crapped the bed. So if you want your files and you want them now...this is a good start.

This is a perfect solution for backing up your files using a typical HDD or SSD.

I had an old Mac that died. Upon contacting Apple they suggested purchasing an item like this. The graphic card had died, but the Hard Drive still intact. I was able to remove the hard drive and use it as a back up drive and retain everything.

Allows easy attachment of drives from other systems to retrieve or back up. Sometimes when a computer fails to boot, the hard drive can be removed and plugged in through this to another system, where the data can still be retrieved.

Very easy to operate and install the hard drives in. I would have given this 5 stars but it doesn't allow you to use one or the other drive by itself, both are always on.

The product looks sturdy. It works after I connect it to my Mac without any issues. It's easy to feed and eject hard drives. Overall, it does what it was designed to do.

Nicely packaged, quick setup and easy to use. Loads drives quickly. Recommend.

I bought one and tested it. Then I bought 3 more and will buy 4 more and load them up with 8x2TB drives. I use FastCopy ver3.11 to copy and move files and I have them connected to a usb hub connected to a laptop usb 3.0 port. I am running Windows 8.1.

I have owned the single and dual bay units in USB 2.0 and eSata. They are all still working, I just needed a USB 3.0 interface. This is a great product and have never had any problems with it, highly recommended.

Runs smoothly and no issues at all. Does not work with RAID disks.

Works fine so far, bought to transfer data from smaller SATA drives to larger capacity and sell the small capacity drives. not perfect but does what I purchased it for

I used this to turn 2 old computer HDDs into external drives. This makes it easy to access data like music, pictures, videos, and documents and transfer them to my new computer.

This unit allows for hot-swapping of desktop and laptop disks - a real plus!

Thermaltake - BlacX Duet Hard Drive Enclosure Docking Station - Black. This is a great little affordable hard drive dock. I would recommend to anyone looking for a way to easily access their old loose hard drives and data.

This was a great docking station for adding extra hard drives. The installation is dummy proof and quick. I would definitely recommend for novice tech's.
