    You can always rely on the Thermaltake name. This drive docking station works as stated. Gets a bit warm when formatting a 500 GB or larger drive, but still very acceptable. It will hold 2 drives at once.

    Plug and play. Dual drive bays permits easy copying. Some reviews complained about heat, but I worked the drives pretty hard and they only got warm. Nice price, great performance, no complaints.

    Overall the dock was easy to setup and use. It worked for about an hour. I had two 2.5inch 5200RPM 1TB laptop HDDs installed. After about an hour both drives began making a scraping noise as though the heads were scraping the platters. Drives stopped being read. Tested each drive in a single (lay flat) enclosure and both worked fine. This is my second attempt at a vertical type dock. May have to stick to lay-flat enclosures.

    My computer crashed, was able to save most, but with the docking station I was able to gather missing files from my back up hard drive. Great for combining other hard drives.
