I really like this product. USB 3.0, makes all my older drives just collecting dust relevant again without the hassle of opening up my tower. I would definitely recommend this product.

The motherboard on my computer got fried when the power supply went out. The BlacX docking station works great just plug in hard drives like a toaster and bam you have your data back.

Much easier than other adapters I have tried. Works flawlessly with sad and data drives. I would definitely recommend this too a friend

This is a great product with nice features: dual drives with individual eject buttons and a master power switch. USB 3.0 really helps when transferring large files. WE love it

Simple to use, easy to set up, does exactly what it says it does. Great Product

The Thermaltake BlacXDuet hard disk docking station works great. Simply plug into a USB port (says USB 3 but is downward compatible with a slower transfer rate at USB 2 or USB 1) with sata drive(s) inserted and drives appear in "My Computer". Formatting needed for new drives. Drives with data show up instantly. Drives from old computers or non-operational mass storage units usually come to life with data intact. Drives can be "hot swapped" with out issues for quicker exchange of data. With the low prices of drives and high quantities of data, it provides an easy way of storing large photo folders and system backups.

I worked with trying to get data off an old hard drive for several days. I purchased this unit and was able to get about 1/2 terabyte moved within 30 mins.

Other reviews prior to purchase were concerning, but no problem so far. Certainly was easy to use.

I've used this twice. Both times, I was able to pull a working hard drive from a dead computer (one was a motherboard failure, other was a mystery) and recover all the data by transferring it to a working computer. Very useful, worked perfectly. I checked that I would recommend this device to a friend, but more likely, I would offer to loan it.

If you’ve got a small stack of hard drives to go thru, this will make your life easier. Forget the mess of wires most kits come with with this unit.

Moved from a desktop that died to a laptop and this utility helped restore many essential files from the old to the new. Easy and fast transfer too!

At first I wanted an enclosure that I would keep hooked up all the time, but they didn't have one in stock so I bought this because I needed to transfer data to a new computer quickly. This allowed me to pop in two hard drives from my old computer and transfer what I needed very quickly. In the end I think it is even more handy than the original enclosure I was looking for.

Received product a day sooner than expected. easy to use had several old hard drives laying around that I reformatted and am now able to use for extra storage

I have Purchased this brand before and have not been disappointed. Definitely recommend, easy to use and works as described. Also, it was on sale at Best Buy!

I handle all computer repairs for my family and friends. When teir systems crash or they upgrade to new machine, i use this to transfer or recover the data

It was very easy to use for checking function of my hard drives and it takes both sizes of hard drive and going to keep it for other uses

Works Works straight out the box. Great for drag and drop storage or help with recovering files.

I would buy this again if I had to. It works great for easy swapping of hard drives.
