Got this to supplement an Aluratek single bay external adapter that's worked great for years and years. This dock is fine when it detects drives but we've had issues with it not detecting some drives in either bay, that are detected perfectly fine in the older Aluratek. We've tried different operating systems and boot disks with the same result, and when a drive isn't detected, it won't pick it up in either bay. Other drives work fine in both bays. We would have returned the item if we'd noticed the issue within the return period but it took some trial and error to figure it out. We'll use it for what we can with the drives that do work with it moving forward but pretty disappointed overall. Hopefully we just got a faulty one.

I thought this docking station would enable me to use a hard drive removed from an older tower computer that I recycled. I did, once I learned that the wait is long for my Lenovo Thinkpad to wade through all the hard drive contents in order to make them available.

Works great! Easy to use! Made backing up data before reformat much quicker!

I've been meaning to buy one of these for a while, and I finally have. Everything works great, but unfortunately the cable isn't terribly long for those who have their computers below their desk. I'm going to have to buy a USB extension cable, but besides that everything else is great.

I needed it for backup and transfer of data for a hard drive replacement on a client of mine and it came through with flying colors. Put the bad drive in and transfer doc and data to the fresh drive. Short, sweet and easy.

When my lap was dropped and broke, I thought I had lost all my Data and files. This item not only allowed me to retrieve all my files but also worked on older drives that I had saved. What a find and at a very good price.

This product is easy to use, makes copying files from 2.5 & 3.5 SATA HDD & SSD painless. Copy only the files you want on your new hard drive from your old hard drive.

I was upgrading my disks, so I needed an external SATA/USB adapter; I couldn't find my older one. I've seen faster ones than this, but it was fast enough, and I was able to get it at the local Best Buy when I needed it. It got the data transferred.

This device is very useful for checking the integrity of sata hard drives, copying data to and from drives, and cloning hard drives (with cloning software). Not recommended for machines with slower than USB 2.0 ports, otherwise backing up your data will take a long time.

I have had this docking station for four months on a Windows 10 system running a Ryzen 1700x with other high end hardware. No problems with the Operating System or the docking hardware. I am running HyperX Solid State drives and no problem whatsoever with read/write and file transfers. Solid product and reliable as of today.
