Thermaltake - BlacX Hard Drive Docking Station

This is my first time experience using a Thermaltake - BlacX Hard Drive Enclosure Station like this. I bought two for both of my desktops on sale for $34.99, (Reg. $49.99) with two different reward coupons days apart. Thought I would give a 2.5" solid state drive a try, even though you can use either 2.5" and 3.5" SATA hard drives and solid state drives. I am somewhat of a computer geek so working with computers do come easy. I needed this Thermaltake - BlacX Hard Drive Docking Station for my new desktop computer and my old desktop. I bought these two and got my hard drive back and inserted into the docking station and there was everything. The Thermaltake is extremely flexible, allowing you to connect both 2.5" and 3.5" drives through USB. It also allows you to use your own drives as externals so you don't have to purchase an entire external drive. This allows for better performance as you can use faster drives (i.e. 7200 RPM drives vs 5400 RPM drives) through USB. I intended to use my SATA drive temporarily as an external for data backup but later as an internal drive in a new and old computer. The will system allowed you to work on both. It is also useful for those who want to transfer data from a dead computer or to a new computer as you can simply plug the drive in, copy the files, and then install in your computer. I would highly recommend this Thermaltake - BlacX Hard Drive Docking Station.

So I removed the sata hard drive and used this dock. Thank God I had all my pictures and files saved up. Also great way to use it as an external hard drive SATA dock. Stop reading this, get up and go buy one...

NOT eSATA despite product description

Rely on the USB interface when eSATA is unavailable for easy access" This dock has only a USB 3.0 port. I purchased this specifically as an eSATA dock.
