easy to use for the novice.. allowed me to retrieve my files from a drive that would no longer boot up.

This Thermaltake SATA HDD doc has been able to identify and sync every HD so far; from 80 GB to 1TB.

I absolutely LOVE this item! I often am required to retrieve data from hard drives for my job. I have literally went through at least a dozen cables in the past. They have all become defective in a short time. This stand/cable works flawlessly and so far has proven to be durable as well.

This external HD adapter turned the tedious task of searching retired discs from trial to joy.

Glad I got this on sale!!! Even happier I researched this product before buying it because the store tried to sell me one that would only work for a laptop and I needed one for a desktop. It worked perfect for what I needed!!!

I had a computer crash and needed a way to salvage the files out of the hard drive. This was quick and easy to setup. Just plugged everything in and it just worked. Files transferred over quickly and I was able to save all the data!

This is great for when you're migrating to a new system and want a simple way to access your old files on the new machine without having to have the old machine up and running. Or if you have a seemingly failing external drive that you want to just check if it will work if you take it out of it's stock enclosure and pop it in to this dock.

The Blacx was easy and convenient to use. It did not help me retrieve my loss data and I had to return it, however, it was because my hard drive was damaged. The Blacx is a good tool with the right condition.

1) I use this unit to format/prep new drives. 2) I use it to archive/sync folders (videos, music, inactive documents) to multiple SATA drives. 3) I use it to make image backups of my system drives to a SATA drive.

I love that I can take a drive out of an infected PC and slap it in her to do an offline scan. Way more confident that having to bring back teh whole PC. And the spacer to help align 2.5" drives is awesome.

I needed more space on my original Xbox 360 and had a spare 1TB Seagate Barracuda drive from my older computer setup. Plugged it in and everything worked just fine. Formatted using Xbox System menu with no problems.

Weather you backing up files or transferring them, this is the way to go. The USB 3.0 makes it quick and easy to use. Why throw out old Sata drives when you can use them for backup. This makes it easy.

Easy to understand, great product for the price...

I used this product to access the data on a hard drive that was having boot up issues. Once the hard drive was fixed, I connected an old hard drive to it to use as a backup drive. In both cases the device has been simple and seamless to operate.
