I saved the old drive in case my system crashed.I play around a lot with the setting in windows 10 and end up missing it up. I put the old drive and run the software to redo the SSD. Work great and I still use it to save other stuff.I would suggest this to any one who upgrades to any drive and use it for back up to.

I've used these before and they are really nice to be able to swap drives out. I ended up returning this as I had purchased it for an issue with a computer at work but ended up not needing it after all.

One of the best things I ever bought in BB. Forget those external HD. Buy this dock station and you'll be able to buy the cheaper portable HD. It works on Wii U and Xbox by the way!

I love this hard drive dock. I works as expected. Every now and then I come across a hard drive that does not line up so easily. Otherwise I have nothing bad to say.

had purchased a samsung ssd to replace and HDD on my 2010 macbook pro, made the transferring of data from HDD to SSD easy and with no issues, definitely recommend to anyone

It's a good way to make use of old hard drives you have around. Can for backup or use to copy drives if you are upgrading without having to install in a PC. I used to boot a new pc without having drive installed. Its not that expensive, works with 2.5" or 3.5" drives.

I bought this to go through my hard drives on my laptop but also works great if need it as an external hard drive dock for extra GB of storage for gaming

So far I have had no issues and it works every time. I was able to extract info i needed off a bad HDD formatted for windows from my MAC. Worth every penny.

This docking station will save your life when you cannot boot your PC. You are still able to back up and save the files that you really needed

My 27" iMac died at age 5. The hard drive was extracted from it and I bought this docking station in order to access my files. It worked very well.
