    Great adapter but requires patient, and time dependent on drive being master versus slave. Lots of toying to recognize drive. Bottom line it saved my A** , my Alien motherboard fragged out.

    My hard drive went dead and was hoping this unit could bring it back long enough to get some files from it. The hard drive is toast but I can't blame this product. It works great and simple to use!

    I have used this cable to transfer data from one drive to another and it works great! Recommendedn for laptop users.

    I tried to use this in order to access files off of a 2tb Seagate HDD but even under disk manager, the hard drive would not show up
