Customers love the Riing 12 LED 120mm Radiator Cooling Fan for its quiet operation and effective cooling capabilities. Many appreciate the ease of installation and the fan's performance, considering it a great value for the price. While some wish for RGB lighting options, the existing LED lighting is generally well-received. The positive feedback on cooling, noise levels, and ease of use strongly outweighs the limited criticism.

I recently picked up four Thermaltake Riing 12 LED 120mm Radiator Cooling Fans (White) for my AM4 build featuring the Ryzen 9 5900X, and I couldn’t be happier with the results. Right off the bat, let me just say—these fans are clearly popular. I was only able to find one online, and had to drive to another Best Buy location just to get the remaining three. That kind of availability usually tells you everything you need to know: people are snatching these up for a reason.
Performance & Thermals:
Even though I'm running the stock Wraith cooler (which technically isn’t rated for the 5900X’s TDP), these fans help keep my temps impressively stable—in the low-to-mid 60s °C range under load. That’s no small feat, especially for a setup pushing the limits of stock cooling. The airflow from the Riing 12s is clearly making a real difference.
Noise & Build Quality:
These fans run incredibly quiet. Even with all four installed and spinning, the noise level stays minimal. Perfect if you're aiming for a clean, near-silent build without sacrificing performance. The build quality also feels solid, with no weird vibrations or rattles even after extended use.
Looks & Case Integration:
I’ve got a front mesh panel on my case, not tempered glass, and these fans shine beautifully through it. The white LED lighting is clean and subtle—just enough to give your build a modern edge without being overpowering. They blend really well with my all black-themed setup.
Final Thoughts:
All around, I’m impressed. Between the effective cooling, silent operation, and that clean aesthetic, these fans are a win. The fact that I had to hunt down the last three locally just to complete my build tells me others are discovering how good these really are. If you can get your hands on them—do it. They’re worth every penny.

I bought this fan because I heard positive things about Thermaltake and wasn't disappointed. These fans have it all, cushions on the corners to reduce noise, high-quality plastic/velvet components, long braided cables, high pressure fans, and great LED.
Pros:
+ High-quality materials
+ Quiet
+ High static air pressure (even on low power usage)
+ Unique LED design (Their LED light is patented meaning no other brand can imitate this exclusive ring-like design)
+ LED bright but not blinding (Important for those who want to admire their work without burning a hole through their retinas)
+ Braided cables (Looks great inside transparent computers)
+ Very easy to install
+ Same price as other fans that boast only a portion of the features provided by this all-in-one fan.
Cons:
- They weren't on sale. I only had enough to buy a 140mm and two 120mm at the time :(

Bought two of these fans for a client build who was having airflow and heat issues inside their PC case. These seemed to be the least expensive option that advertised high static pressure, so I bought two for their front intake and hooked them up.
These fans move a lot of air at a full 12V input, with some considerable noise. Using a motherboard with DC voltage control, running these fans at 9V cuts the noise considerably without sacrificing much airflow, and at 7V they're nearly silent while still pushing a decent amount of air. The only thing to be aware of is the LED ring's intensity is directly proportional to the input voltage - they start to dim noticeably below 9V.
Still a great looking, great performing fan for the money. I bought four yellow ones for my main rig shortly thereafter and haven't looked back. They're no Noctuas, but they're half the price. Recommended!

This fan is great for simple quiet cooling. While I normally get faster fans than this, I got this to replace a broken OEM exhaust fan and because it had the blue light that matched everything else on the PC. Works great, keeps the PC cool, and is good value.
We are glad you are enjoying your fans. If you have any questions please feel free to reach out any time!

One of my cooling fans needed to be replaced and I decided to try this one. I love it; it is quiet and works well at keeping my PC tower cool and I love the blue LED color. It was easy to replace/install and I am not an overly technical person (I looked up a couple of YouTube videos on how to replace the fan). Keep in mind this one doesn't have the arrows to depict the direction of the flow of air (at least I didn't see it), but it was still easy to tell which direction it would blow, as the placement of the motor/wiring made it easy to tell (the side with the motor and the visible wiring going along that side is where the intake is, as in the air is sucked through from that side).

I have bought three of these fans for my recent build. All of them mounter as exhaust (2 top 1 rear mounted). The blue leds are nice without being overpoweringly bright. They do a very good job at keeping components cool while being very quiet. Some people may not get these fans purely because they are blue LEDs only and are not programmable RGBs which is the big trend for custom PC building lately. These are a great choice if you want fans that move a lot of air without being very loud and you maybe have a blue only color scheme for your computer.

It is a good fan, it pushes a lot of air. The noise levels are not noticeable either! However, I do dislike the white led. I was hoping to be able to turn off the white led, but some research has proved otherwise. That is a personal dislike, but the overall fan is fantastic, and the price point is great! The material is great to, and feels like quality!

Does what it’s supposed to and gets the job done without breaking the bank, all the mounting screws are included and pretty straight forward, so if you’re loooking for budget equipment with solid preformance to keep your PC cool or draw heat away, it does the job.

Finished off my personal build. they are quite and work great and move a ton of air. I just went with the solid white and blue fans. They were on sale for $10 at my local BB a few weeks ago.

I replaced the sidefans of my PC with these and they worked even better than those fans. They looked better (the led is in a strip around the fan), so it's evenly bright and very distinct. The fan itself has noise-buffering pads where the screws go, but my PC has noise-reduction inserts instead of screws. I don't now if it's the fans, the inserts, or both, but the overall noise from the fans are really silent, virtually gone from where my PC and mic are from one another (Tower under desk, mic on top of desk, about a foot from one another). My last fans were quiet but I could hear an obvious whirr from them.
These fans, I'd say, are worth it. I just wished that my best buy had more colour variety (though they did have the colour I wanted).
