Customers regard the Riing Duo 12 RGB fans' vibrant RGB lighting and quiet operation as significant strengths. Many also appreciate the effective cooling performance and ease of installation. However, some users have expressed dissatisfaction with the software's functionality and stability. Overall, the positive feedback on the fans' core features outweighs the negative comments about the software.

Overall, this was a solid value pack for fans. My PSU did not have a molex cable, so I had to buy a SATA to molex adapter before I could get the fans running. The screws were a little funny but overall were ok. The software is a little awkward, but alright. Nonetheless, the fans look vibrant in my build.

The app isn't great, the software is just ok... but the fans are really nice. They're so bright I am currently only using the inner ring of lights

Not only do these fans have some extremely vibrant color, they're very quiet. Plenty of customization as far as what you can do with the LEDs as well. Lots of cable to work with, but its sleeved and a little stiff, which can be a nuisance. Software might take some people a little while to get used to as it's not extremely intuitive but the capabilities are endless when you gain your bearings. A lot of fun designs you can put together to get a very flashy pop.

Amazing RGB, really pop. However you get miles of cable which doesn't bode well for cable management. The software for the effects is a little buggy but not terrible, and no tutorials or step by step instructions of the use of the software.

Fans are great... when the software works properly

The airflow is the fans are good, they move a good amount of air throughout my case. They are fairly easy to install as long as you have the proper headers to support the controller. The software on the other hand is terrible. When it works, it offers a lot of different patterns and features. However, I've had to revert to previous versions of the software because the new "updated" version crashes instantly and defaults my fans to a static color state or rainbow RGB state. I also get the "fan controller is not connected" error ALOT. Requiring an uninstall, a restart and a re-install to get the RGB working properly. Annoying to say the least. Thermaltake PLEASE FIX your software!

Molex is outdated

Honestly these fans are nice. But molex is outdated and the software isn't as good as Corsair. I tried these out didn't like that the molex pins were bent and had to straighten them out. The software is ehhh. So I just decided to return them and get the LL fans by Corsair. I priced matched them and got them on sale. If you don't mind molex and an okay software get these and if you have the money just go with Corsair.

I used a couple sets of these in my first ever PC build last year and I have had no issues. No issues when building and no issues since then. They’re holding up as you would want them to. The RGB is great. Looks nicer and more expensive than more basic RBG fans.

Caught these fans nearly 60% off. Great deal for 3 very quiet, and great looking fans. Software and installation are easy for a relatively knowledgeable computer builder, or anyone who just wants some cool RGB in their case

These fans look great in my O11 Dynamic. I connected them with a TT sync controller instead of the included one so that I could control the ARGB through the motherboard. Works perfectly.
