    I needed thermal paste in a pinch for a build that went poorly for my mom. It boots and didn't overheat when I had it, and she hasn't told me about it not working so it must be thermal paste.

    I've built computers, taken apart servers as well as laptops. I've used this thermal grease many times when re-greasing the processor and the heat sink and had no issues. It does what it needs to do, simple as that.
