    This PSU has a good value to product and it doesn’t take much time setting it up I would recommend for a mid range pc but would look for something different if you are building long lasting expensive pc

    It ended up killing my b550 mother board, everything was seated properly and i was using all the cables with it and it overpowered my motherboard socket and killed it in the process.

    3 weeks after purchase the PSU is defective. BestBuys return window has expired so I have to start an RMA with Thermaltake. The PSU started to make a clicking noise that got louder the last few days. Sounds like it's the fan. I'd probably pick a different PSU in the future.

    Purchased this PSU for a new build. Graphics card ended up getting slightly delayed, pushing the build back a week. Anyway, I finish the build, and the machine doesn't boot up. Almost 6 hours of troubleshooting, taking everything apart, rebuilding, before I test an older PSU - It works. This Power Supply was DOA, added several unnecessary hours to a build. Because of that graphics card delay, Best Buy says it's only a 14 day return and they won't swap it out for a new one. ThermalTake wants me to spend $30 to ship it to them for a repair. Don't buy this. Don't buy it from Best Buy either. Neither company is consumer friendly.

    Got this power supply last Friday December 27th 2024 for my pc my brother and i were putting all my stuff in a new case and i wanted to upgrade the power supply so we gone with this one at best buy in eau claire we spent so much time putting it all together and when we gone to start it up nothing happened we checked over everything and for the fun of it we tried hooking up the old power supply and then it started right up ...... it was dead on arrival do not recommend we wasted are day putting that in do not buy unless u want problems !!!
