Great overall value for price to power! Wish there were a few more pcie slots , but as able to easily work around it!

It sucks. I bought this back in Dec but me being a truck driver im on the road 3-4 weeks at a time. I was waiting on a motherboard to get to me so I could assemble the pc but unfortunately the motherboard didn't arrive until 2 days after I went back out on the road for 4 weeks. No the motherboard wasnt through bestbuy. Anyway I got home today happy and ready to put this pc together just to find out the power supply doesnt work. I have a power suppy from my old build that works but isnt pushing enough power. Now the problem is I was about to get in my car and drive across time to exchange it for something else but when i pulled up the receipt it said only, and i stress the only 15 days to return this item. This is why I prefer going through amazon because they give you much more time to make sure the product works

So far so good. I had an old version of the 1050w Toughpower for about 12 years and it served me well. 1050W should be enough even for a beefy RTX5090 gaming PC.

Solid price and good for future proofing. I would recommend to anyone building your own rig. Comes with a nice pouch for extra cables

Abour three months ago i had to make some upgrades to my motherboard and power supply. The power supply was working great until about a week ago. At first i thought it was my case button because it would turn on every once in a while and i could play for a whole session. Now my mother board wont even light up and im getting no power to my system. Maybe its just my product but i would not recommend.

It is slight smaller than my former PSU making it easy to fit in place. Works as intended no issues with cable management.

I purchased this Thermaltake power supply on September 4th, 2024, out of necessity as it was the only one available at my local Best Buy. Everything worked fine initially, but today, November 26th, it suddenly died. My computer wouldn't power on at all. I swapped it out with an older power supply I had lying around, and my system booted right up, confirming the Thermaltake unit was the culprit. Less than three months of use before complete failure is unacceptable. I definitely won't be buying another Thermaltake PSU and can't recommend it to anyone else. Stick with more reliable brands like Corsair, Be Quiet!, or Seasonic. You'll thank yourself in the long run.

PLEASE READ! Before you buy, do research on this. This PSU fried 3 SATA drives for me. I only powered the system once, noticed a fault and it turned off less than a second after. Instantly returned the product next day and swapped for a corsair. Looking into the issue, it seems there are many that can attest to thermal take destroying SATA HDDs. If you do intend to utilize this product. I highly suggest doing a FULL TEAR DOWN of your system and swapping all the cables to the ones they provide! THIS IS KEY TO PROTECTING YOURSELF.

The one i got wasnt made by thermaltake so was definitely worth the price
