It takes some of the guesswork out of your bbq.No longer will you have to keep looking at ( opening the pit ) to check on your progress.

All meat thermometers I’ve ever had have been this brand. Today I will stop this trend. Bought the new Thermo pro spike. Works well on steak and pork chops but anything on the grill more than 2hrs wont work. My battery consistently dies between 2-3hrs. Very disappointing. I only recently found this out since I don't smoke meats in winter but now I am outside the return window. Spend a little more money and buy a better brand.
