Easy to use I use it on beef and turkey and I would get more as a gift for friends!!

Excellent product. It works really well to get that exact point of cooking of any meat. The added bonus is the fact that the base has magnets and stay put in the barbecue or fridge

Have only used it a couple of times ... Not so sure about having to bury the THICK spike in a steak/fish/etc ... sometimes what i am cooking is not thick enough to support the Spike. Great part is that it is magnetic and will stick to the fridge so you never have to look for it ... until someone doesn't return it to it's proper place :-)

Great termometor no more dried picanha for me!! Set to 125 and meat is great!!!

Have not used much yet but so far the quality seems great. Perfection on my first smoke brisket. Less stress worrying about temp as you can monitor/alert for the entire process.

I used this three times and all three times my meat came out the perfect medium rare. The set up was seamless and being able to monitor your meat internal temp and ambient temperature through your app is awesome and essential when you’re BBQing in a kettle grill. No more guessing the temperatures for me.

Its ok, it works but the probe dies fast. Wish it last for at least a 12 hour cook

I haven’t used it yet as it is a gift for my chef boyfriend. I will be back to follow up. Stay tuned

I still can't figure out how to use it ..Also one bad feature the probe has to be in the meat for almost 3 inches if you look carefully on the picture you can see the line with that said taking the temp of a piece of Salmon is near to impossible its going to be the same for everything except for a roast which I cook once a year ..

This year we decided to cook our Thanksgiving turkey on our Weber grill. Given that controlling the grill's temperature would be a challenge compared to an oven, I thought it might be nice to monitor the actual temperature of the turkey and ran across the ThermoPro Smart Thermometer at Best Buy. Since it was my first try at using one of these, I was impressed by how easy it was to set up and monitor the temperature on my iPhone. Everything worked perfectly and the turkey came out moist and cooked to a safe serving temperature. It's perfect for the grill and it takes out the guess work of wondering if the meat is done.

I really like this thermometer for a few reasons: 1 - its slightly longer than some other brands making it easier to reach the middle in larger/thicker cuts of meat. 2 - it has at least a 300ft Bluetooth range and it doesn't lose connection easily, even through walls. 3 - its accurate and it even accounts for carryover cooking as the meat rests. 4 - easy cleaning and storage. Its definitely worth every penny even at regualr price. Keep an eye on it though,it fluctuates frequently.

I've used Meater for years, and for years I was a happy camper with one exception. Connectivity. Regardless of my wifi signal strength, Meater would periodically, drop its connection. Tempspike has solved the connectivity issue with the strongest Bluetooth connection and temperature accuracy that I've seen in any of the other devices that I own, and it's less expensive.

Really cool tech, love the concept and their approach but lacks a iOS watch app and alerts can be confusing to setup. It uses the cradle as a repeater station relaying the Bluetooth connection from the sensor to you phone via WiFi, still need to test and see if it alerts if say I leave my place for a quicky mart run but still really cool and it recharges the sensor even if not plugged into the wall for power. Love the presets for temp ranges and that you can add a custom range. The sensor is a little wide but will work for most needs. I hope they release a watch app so I don’t have to hold the phone near by while cooking. An Alexa connector would be cool but need to see if that’s not already a thing. Gave it four stars because the app is undeveloped fully and feels like a beta version to me but lots of promise. They have another version that has multiple sensors that looks more advanced but I need to test one to confirm. Would I buy this again, yes, it does a great job with keeping a steady updated temp reading on the app and so far has done well with a chicken roast, super thick steak, and even a potato

Now this little tool makes it easier to plan out your cook. After some trend analysis the app will tell you a predicted time to make your temp settings. You can set multiple staging profiles for the different cook phases with alerts. The range on it is pretty good since that comes from the magnetic (nice!!) base. I drove to the store and it disconnected. Upon return it reconnected and picked up where it left off. It handles the heat with no problem and cleanup if pretty easy. It recharges in a pretty reasonable amount of time. Comparison with two other temp gages this is accurate. Two briskets and a turkey into this and I am very happy with the purchase. The next time I might get one with multiple probes.

Accurate temps and holds a charge well. The diameter of the probe is larger than previous ones I’ve used but I’m satisfied with this one.

Easy to use and set up and worked perfectly when I cooked a 13 pound prime rib on Christmas day. Took the guess work out of cooking. Lound alarm and easy to read app
