Spoon goes big with comeback album
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Spoon's "They Want My Soul" is a big step up from their fine though not excellent 2010 album "Transference" both in terms of sonic production and melodic ambition. Is it better than their 2007 slipstream breakthrough "Ga Ga Ga Ga Ga"? No. But the album is compelling and exciting enough to come awfully close. This album will definitely appeal to long-time Spoon fans and serve as a fantastic introduction to those new to the band and their agit-pop-rock sound.

Solid, but not their best
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The latest Spoon album has some good songs on it, but does not live up to some of their previous work like Ga Ga Ga Ga Ga and Gimme Fiction.

Really liked this
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a very good album. Even though this band has been around for quite a while, this is the first album of theirs I've purchased. I really liked it. Looking forward to their next release.
