You have to play with the settings so it won't kill your car and so it turns on when it needs to. I got my for security purposes mostly, but also helps in case of an accident.

Looks nice, but picture quality just ok.

Had if professionaly installed by Best Buy. Two choice of apps makes this confusing. Picture is ok, but not great. Front dash cam picks up reflection of speaker mesh off dash, this makes picture even worse in center of camera.- not sure if all dash cams would react this way.
