Budget cam. Soldering required!

The picture is basic 1080p HD which had been around forever. There are plenty of higher quality options, but I chose this because it met some of the specifications I needed. The camera hardwiring kit is a joke. Not all vehicles have an interior fuse box on the driver/passenger side. Mine is under the hood. The wire length of the kit is unable to reach to my fuse box under the front hood. My vehicle is fairly small, so I’m sure this is a common issue. They must want you to pay for install. I had to go to the hardware store and get some extra wire. Then I had to cut, splice, solder, and insulate the extra wire into the kit. Took about 6 hours of my time to fix their hardwire kit that is about 5-10 feet too short. If you don’t know what you’re doing, get ready to to pay a couple hundred dollars to get this thing installed. If Thinkware reads these reviews, then why aren’t you supplying longer hardwire kits?? Come on! You get 1 star for wasting my time

We sell two cable lengths for the hardwire cable: Regular: 3.0m (10 ft) and Long: 7.0m (23 ft).
The regular length is what is included as a default cable for all bundles.
