By Far The Best Dashcam Best Buy Sells

All other brands sell those parts separately for extra $$$. It has 1080p front and rear cameras, so the images are sharp. It has parking mode, which will record anything it detects while the vehicle is parked. It has car battery protection, so it won't kill your battery if you leave your car parked for extended periods of time. You turn this on in the unit's settings. Be mindful that it will stop recording events if your battery gets low. The app you need is called Dash Cam Link from Thinkware. If you download the wrong app onto your phone, you'll get nothing but errors when you try to sync up your phone to it. The app exists so you can adjust the unit's settings and to allow you to view the files it has recorded. It is not to be used for anything else, because the unit will stop recording when you connect it to your phone.

Easy to program from my phone (iPhone) on e you realize you need to temporarily disable wireless CarPlay if you are using that. Had to figure out on my own how to find the on line manual. They could do a better job with the quick start guide. The operation seems to be flawless. I appreciate the voice status updates. I was disappointed they discontinued the PC/Mac software with no explanation or update to their advertising. They still advertise the feature. Not good. No regrets buying it though. Gets the job done for the price paid.

The problem of not connecting the phone to wifi exists. I had to use the warranty for it and they sent a new one and the new one had the same problem.

The picture quality is great and the app has given me no problems. I feel more confident driving on these crazy highways knowing my dash cam is recording everything. Will definitely return to this brand for any other needs in the future.

I don't have to get a memory card separately and it comes with two power conectors in case you want to have if professional installed or just use the lighter socket in the car.

Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Just bought it - installed it with hardwire - big mistake Image quality is good even at night but when got home from the shop i missed most of the video footage Today it connected to my cell phone for maybe 30 seconds and now I can't connect this at all, at best will say it's looking for IP then camera says wifi is off and that's all Now have to spend another half hour ripping cables off the car and then returning it to bestbuy
