The first time bought this unit dash camera and Greek Squad had it professionally installed. Integrated perfectly with my car. Video capture is excellent but not so much at night time.

This camera is awesome. It's easy to connect to my phone to adjust settings and view videos. It has many settings, so you can fine tune every aspect of it. It's very discreet from the inside and outside of the car. I can only see the wires going to the front camera from my seat (this will vary by car and installation). I purchased the Thinkware hardwire kit from Amazon, in order to have the parking mode capability. The hardwire kit was very easy to install, and I highly recommend ordering it as well.

I've had the dash cam for about two months. It's pretty good. No problems so far othan than all my files being corrupt after I switched to a new SD card. Fixed it by formatting it. Good thing I caught it before a possible accident.

Good product. Works well. My only complaint is in the software connected to my cellphone not being terribly user friendly. Also, for the price paid it would have been nice if it had the cloud service gps that the app tells you other models have.

This setup works really well, though I wish it had more than 720 resolution on the rear camera. Not a show stopper as my rear window is just inboard of the bumper. It has captured a few close calls already.

After seeing various unsafe driving decisions others have made on the road, I put some thought into getting a dash cam. I wanted one that records both front and rear, but also needed one that did not have a driver-facing display (a requirement where I live). This camera has all the features I need. You can disable the audio recording (it's very important to be able to disable audio recording due to Federal Wiretapping law). You can also connect your smart phone to the camera to view the camera alignment, and also to download copies of the videos for viewing without having to disconnect your camera or remove the memory card - very convenient! In the time that I've owned this, I've recorded someone behind me getting rear-ended (it was a relief to be able to view the footage and know that nothing was my fault...the person behind me had someone tailgating him), and a few other interesting happenings. I recommend getting the kit to wire this into your car's power, because it adds the ability for a "Parking Mode". The Parking Mode will record about 20 seconds if it detects an impact while your car is parked. I also recommend having Best Buy install this for you - they installed mine and I am very happy with my dash cam.

The camera has great quality and has a simple set up and app. The only thing that I had issues with was that you can't activate parking mode manually and it won't go into parking mode unless its hardwired. And the kit costs extra

very easy to install and very clear image. i read reviews on the quality of the back camera but after downloading i was very surprised on how clear it was for me. the only thing is that if you want the park mode feature you have to buy a $30 hard wire kit. that is where things may be more difficult for some people.

Easy to set up and clear video App is very buggy and slow when transferring footage.

The front camera works great but rear camera does not. Best techs not working to solve issue Have called thinkware but no response. I would like to get it to work

For accidents, it helps identify the situation. It cannot read license plates. This is where the 4k would help. I bought the obd2 power adapter from cartek so no cutting cables or splicing wires in your car.

easy to install. Just need to find the correct power adapter for parking mode. I got a think ware installer kit with obd (dependent on your car make model) which worked perfectly.

Great video quality, and gives peace of mind while driving. Connecting to the cam to download videos is kind of clumsy and slow. Not sure if the download speed can be helped, though.

Great video quality, you can't go wrong with the Thinkware brand. Used a professional dashcam installer and he only recommends Thinkware and Blackvue cameras. Captures everything clearly and automatically starts to record whenever I start the car. Got both the rear and front cameras on sale, great quality for the price.

The installation through Best Buy was convenient and the appointment worked out with my schedule. I previously owned a Thinkware dashcam F200D but wanted to include back viewing. This F200D fits the bill. Only problem is inability to immediately view footage since you have to use your mobile phone or computer to view what was recorded. I am enjoying it and it does the job!!
