F70 not that good

Image quality is eh, I guess if $100 is your limit this is kinda ok but you can probably find better.

Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.For what it's worth, the F70 is a good dashcam. Installation is fast and easy; the adhesive sticks well. The overall profile is small and doesn't get in the way. Extracting video files is as simple as can be with the microSD card and adapter, especially since you don't need an app like you would with some other dashcams. There are plenty of options to toy around with and make the dashcam work as you want it to. But for the most part, the dashcam itself is just that: a dashcam. I just mentioned that an app isn't necessary for extracting video files, but you might be interested in getting Thinkware's dashcam app to configure the dashcam, since it's really the only way you can toy around with its minimal features. The 1080p video quality is rather good. It's definitely not as clear as a 4K dashcam, to be sure. I'd compare it to a camera on a phone a few years old. You can't make out license plates with it, but I don't think it would matter in most collisions. You can read out license plates if you want to; the mic works decently. Speaking of collisions, the dashcam is fairly prone to recording "incidents" when there are none, usually whenever I go over a bumpy bit of road. I've gotten used to it, but the beeping sound it makes might be annoying for some. I'm not someone to really care for all the extra features in other dashcams, though, nor do I really need a crisp image. If you're like me and just want a plain dashcam, this will do--especially when compared to other dashcams on the market that cost more for the same general functionality.
