Purchased with the dash camera install service and everything is nice clean and tucked away. Parking mode works with the hard wire but you won’t be connected to the internet while car is turned off.

Would have been nice if it came with instructions on how to wire to fuse box. I did find instructions on the internetthinkware. Easy to run wires and hook up. Recommend having a couple “add a fuse” components to do the job right..

Used this for the F200D and it works great. Does what it's supposed to do.

It's great to have hard wire hook up. Long enough length for those hard to reach places.

To really get the full potential out of the camera this is a must, very simple to install for the mechanically inclined. They even have a video which lays it out for the non mechanically inclined. Just need a small variety of fuses, multimeter, & 2 tap a fuse and 15 minutes.

Works exactly as stated. I used this to hardwire the THINKWARE F200D dual dash cam to my car's fuse box. All three wires need to be used (ground, constant, switching). My only complaints is that the wire is on the thick side, so wedging into car interior trim lining.

I have a 15' Challenger and keeping the interior nice and clean makes this perfect for having wires dangling everywhere. If this were my truck, I wouldn't care. If you want a clean slick look for a show, performance, or maintained car, this is it. You need some tech experience so if your a novice, DONT trust yourself. This is also great for the OCD folks out there.

Caveat Emptor: 10' does not go far when you are routing it behind a dashboard, or under a headliner, or pretty much anywhere out of the way in the cabin of a car. Before you buy know where your fuse box is. I didn't have enough cable to make it to my fusebox under the hood so I ended up mounting a power distribution block and a fuse a few feet closer to the cabin. But it works great and enabled Parking Mode in my F200C camera bundle.

This cable should’ve came with it. In order to use parking mode with Thinkware cameras you’re going to need this fuse splicing cable. It taps into fuse box which may sound scary but it’s more reliable than the 12 volt socket plug that comes in the box. DO NOT tap into safety related fuses such as airbag, power steering and other car critical fuses. Make sure to accurately look up the codes in your cars manual or behind the fuse cover to match the correct fuses. You also may need to buy an *add-a-fuse-cable* and additional fuses at your local car parts store. (There are two types of car fuses. Mini fuse and regular fuse) I tapped into power seats as I have them equipped with my car and it’s a constant on fuse. Constant on meaning the seats in my application still have power to move even when the car is powered off so the camera still has power to enter parking mode.

I bought the F200 and turns out I don’t need this as it comes with the dashcam. It’s the same product and it works well.

Excellent service with the install of my camera. Didn't require this as everything was in the package to hardwire the camera.

When getting my dash cam installed, the installer suggested I purchase the hardwire kit. Good idea because it hides all the power cords plus frees up a powering outlet. Looks really professional and gives the dash area a clean look.

This is a must have for hardwire. Yes you can splice the cord it comes with but it won't give you parking mode. It takes constant 12v, Ign or ACC 12v and ground so that way it knows when to switch. The cord it comes with has a tip ring sleeve connector as well but only 2 wires, I checked. Stop reading just buy it.

I used the included lighter pilot cable for all of one week before I purchased this add-on and I love it, it's a must for me as I don't have to remember to plug or unplug the unit. Watch out though, if your vehicle is sitting for days without starting up, your battery may run down if you turn on the record while parked feature.

Extremely easy and straight forward if a) you know what you’re doing and b) you follow the instructions. I would let a professional do the installation for Honda Civics (from experience) since they have low profile fuses. That makes it difficult to wrap the wire around the fuse.
