I had to buy the OBD2 plug in for it to work while the car is shut off. The problem is, when I start my car in the morning, the dash cam drains my battery. Other than that, I have to use the cigarette light plug in and it works as a good dash cam, but defeats the purpose of not being able to record when I shut the car off for park mode. Thinking about taking it back for a different cam. To add, I dont like all thr wires especially hooking up the back camera.

I don't like I have to remove memory card and insert into my computer to get my videos for the day! When you try to pull videos up on your mobile device it takes too long and if you try to download video on your mobile device it won't let you pull it up and states it need a file to view video. It just a hassle. But it's okay, I'm still using mine.
