Don't buy this camera

Will not display the camera WIFI so can not see the video through the app. It has a continuous SD card error with supplied SD card. This occurred on 2 different Thinkware Q800 pros. Mine and my wifes. Can not set it up

Not easy to use

But did NOT explain how to use the equipment. Has a hard time connecting to your phone, EVERY-TIME, EVERYDAY. WOULD I recommend, I have not yet and I doubt that I will.

They took the camera out and credit my account. Please save yourself time and a headache and get another brand

Not worth the $$

It records sometime and it has to be connected to your WiFi or phone which eats up your data. After one day I took it back. It’s over price

Junk!!! Not worth buying!!!

I was under the impression that it would be a great a great addition to my girlfriends new Honda CRV. Every time I or my girlfriend get into the vehicle to drive we have to program it to my I phone or else the dash cam speaker says that it needs to be programmed! I brought the car back to Best Buy installation technician. He stated that’s the way it works and we would have to program this dashcam every time we drove the car. Not worth the hassle to sit in your vehicle for 15 to 20 minutes and program before you have to go to work or anywhere else. So I just unplugged it and we are now driving around with a useless $400 plus piece of junk! Do not waste your time or money on this! Not even worth a 1 Star Rating!

Cant connect

Poor video quality

The resolution on this model would have to be the equivalent of 480p at best. Ended up checking some forums to see if I could adjust the resolution and it seemed that with this newer model many complaints about how the video looks, same issues. So like I said save your money and get the previous model. Sadly my old one failed. No complaints on the install guys though. Thinkware if you see this please fix this issue.

It died

It should have worked since I had it formatted for the specifications, but I guess it thought it was a virus and kept saying “format required”

Waste of money .

The event recording only got 20 secs of the crash and stopped recording right before the you could see their license plate . Its absoutely worthless. I wish i could upload the video but the review only allows pictures . Go get something else that will capture 360, not one angle of possible collision.
