Nice size camera, comes on and turns off when starting the car. Have not hardwired it yet, was waiting to see if I liked it first! Will be making it a permanent addition to my car. Wish it came with 2 mounting pads so that I could switch between vehicles.

My first dash cam, I bought this when the 4k model came out, price dropped for the Q800, great camera, detail is excellent, I don't know why you need 4k in a dash cam, reading the review, the lens is as important or more important, and this has a top quality lens. Very happy

I haven't had this for very long but first impressions are it seems to be a good all around camera.

I hardwired my front and rear camera. Both cameras work perfectly together and record all parking incidents and motions. The only thing that sucks is to view the cameras is that you have to connect via wifi or Hotspot. If you are streaming music it will stop. Otherwise great camera.

The WiFi and hotspot features are terrible. It won’t make a connection that lasts more than a minute. When I do manage to make a connection to my phone, via the WiFi, the app doesn’t see the camera I put a larger SD card in, it said card must be formatted. No problem, hit the format button. Voice says formatting is starting. Then the voice says: format complete. A few seconds later: GPS connected Then: cars must be formatted!!! I did this 5 or 6 times !! Still can’t use the camera Also, the add on rear cameras are not compatible with other front cams. (Yes from the same maker) The tech at Best Buy ordered everything for me, so as to help make sure I had all I needed. The rear camera was a 700, sold separately from the 800. He said it shouldn’t be a problem. Went to get it installed: no dice. Had to return the rear camera and order the 800 rear

Great camera. There are a few features I would like that it doesn't have. But it works great.

Installed in Dodge Challenger. So happy with this dash cam. Had it installed at Best Buy and it does exactly what I want, which is watch my car when it's parked at work and home. Picture quality is top notch and it sits out of view behind my rear view mirror.

This is a great camera! I like the fact that it’s charged by the car battery and I don’t have to remember to set it up. I like the fact I don’t have to look at the camera if I don’t want to. The picture is nice and clear!

The dashcam is easy to install. It has good video quality but could be better since the bitrate is not that high.

Easy to setup, good quality videos. The only drawback is that video clips are short

This is my 2nd dash cam from the same manufacturer and I have been really impressed. My first one is now 3 years old and it runs 24/7 as it is powered up all the time. Never a problem and these thing take impressive video. I would recommend.

Very good video quality, instant recording of events is very simple and able to view videos on my phone or download to my phone make the transition of saving them very easy. 32GB storage drive keeps video for approx. 3 days before overwriting.

I really like this camera. Very sophisticated and it works great with its features. The only draw back on this one is that I will discharge your battery if you put it in your cigarette lighter. You will need to do the hard wire connection.

Its easy to install. I had to ask the company what rear camera model goes in the rear. Best buy staff were clueless in that area but they really did try. Its not too chatty either. I love that i can record all that goes on around me while driving and parked if i choose.

My complaint on this is that the mount must be stuck to the windshield before you can really try it out. Not wanting to do that, I tried propping it up on the dash. Video quality is very good and clear. Despite having the option on, I was never able to get the lane departure signal to make a sound. That was one reason for buying this model.

Great camera but horrible software. You’ll have a terrible time connecting your camera to your smart phone. The problem is that all dash cam manufacturers have the same issue (check the app reviews). Wouldn’t have purchased it, but there is really no other choice in the dash cam category.

Always good never had a reasone to use but it did save me me one day someone said hot my wife no I didn’t hit her k now cops come in jail 5 days and released video showed nothing happen and was released I think if I didn’t have where would I be now

would be a lot better if had a rear cam already installed on it.

Hard wired installed by myself (former installer of radios) and am highly satisfied with the results. Video is excellent! Paired with rear camera and very satisfied with both.
