I've now bought two of these cameras, one for the wife's car, and one for mine. She's had hers for over 6 months now, and not a single issue. I've purchased half a dozen Thinkware cameras of varying models over the past few years for myself, family, or friends. Not a single issue yet. This particular model is obviously not as good as a 4K camera, but for a good name brand, and half the price of some 4K cameras when it goes on sale, I'll take it. So many folks love the no-name 4K cameras scattered over other retailers for less money, but I'll put my trust in a good name brand every time. Thinkware has not let me down yet. I'll convert to Thinkware 4K cameras later when its more mainstream and on sale, but this one should last me years.

Added this to my Slingshot. Picture quality is excellent even in the dark. Parking recording is the best. I suggest you add the rear view camera that goes with it, once it’s connected it will record everything behind you crystal clear.

This was added to my wifes Ford Super Duty Crew, I've owned an F700 for 3 years, it too was front and rear. With the ability to guard while sitting and detection motion and night vision, very smart purchase.

Does what it says it does. Good buy. Easy install and easy to use.

I have been using Thinkware dashcams for years now and I still stand behind their products. This camera is great with higher resolution and features.

As far as the camera goes, it's doing what it's supposed to do. My concern is with the Thinkware app, it's not user friendly. I keep trying to connect so I can view the videos but this has been a struggle. From the reviews I read it made it sound like it was easy. Negative Ghost Rider. When I try connecting to the app using my Android phone, I get messages say I have to go into my phone setting to disable certain phone settings. That's not something I want to be doing. Just something to think about

This is my 4th thinkware dash cam. I have one in every vehicle. The image quality is very good. It has many useful features. And it's a great witness in the event of an accident.

Complicated, Especially the live view. Keeps telling me to connect to WiFi which I have in my car. The picture quality is excellent. Voice gets bothersome at times. I would like live view if I could get it.

I love driving. But, lately it’s gettting bad on the roads with drivers and road rage. Any video edvenice is protection. Clear video quality.

This was a replacement for the F800 that I had bought which unfortunately was less then a year old , luckily I bought the geek squad warranty which paid for the new one just had to purchase a new warranty for the q800. So far it’s been good and no problems. I would say try buying a better dash then buying one of the cheaper ones if you can afford it. Also I would recommend because of the cost of the dash cam to purchase the geek squad warranty.

Had thinkware camera product for five years. Upgraded to new model. Witnessed a crash and officer was amazed at the exceptional quality of video.

My other Camera the Roav Dashcam S1 was a third of the price and is nearly the same picture. On this Thinkware - Q800 I still can't read license plates while driving. Only my opinion and NOT a side by side technical review.

Love this camera. Very easy to install and comes with both the hardwire and 12v plug. This will pay for itself on the very first accident.

The product is great once I figured out how to used it and how to take the cameras off the vehicle if need be.

Works great, cable for hardwire is made for fuze box at the front of car, mine is a challenger and its located at the trunk. I had to splice an extra length of cable because it only reach the back seats. Other then that it is a great investment as it does everything I needed it.

I purchased thinking it is front and rear view camara but it is only front dash came and I have return it even though it has good features in the front camara.

Upgraded my dash am , have always had Thinkware. This upgrade just as good. Install a breeze.
