Surveillance angles wide enough and the sensors are sensitive enough while parked. The rear camera's cable was long enough to tuck under my headliner. Great night time recording quality as well. The camera announces statuses, A LOT, with default settings. The app let's you mute most of it, and that's enough for me.

There's a ton of you tube support video to get started. The cell phone app is user-friendly. You can pick up fuse taps to make the direct wire install a very simple process. I ordered the radar device after purchasing.

Definitely overpriced, should cost $250, not $500. Connecting to WiFi and viewing videos is a chore. Like most other dash cams, instructions for installation and use lack clarity.

I love my dash cam and the geek squad really did their thing! Last week, I had someone reverse into my Tahoe and thanks to the dash cam, I was able to prove that it was not my fault right away!
