Doesn’t record anything but just keeps rebooting itself. I spoke to Bestbuy and they were able to take this product back as defective one after return period

I started by making sure this dash cam is compatible with my car (plug-in hybrid) on BB website. Then at the scheduled installation, which was about 1 month from the date of purchase, the technician informed me that he'll not do it as it came with a hardwiring cable which will void the car warranty! He suggested I purchase an OBD-2 cable then reschedule for the next month! I checked the cable he suggested online and it clearly shows a note that it's not compatible with hybrid and electric cars. So I had no choice but to return the dash cam.

Need more tech experts willing to go the extra miles at these big box stores. Way to represent Best Buy the way it used to be!
