Thrustmaster - T.16000M FCS Flight Pack - Black easy set up works great

Best HOTAS and peddles for the price according to many YouTube reviewers! I figured I'd trust them and other reviews on many websites. Plastic does not have a high-quality feel. No dead space after a month of hard/daily use. There are better options on the market, but not for this price. Great for someone starting out like me. I don't have anything to compare this to, but I do not regret this purchase. For a novice like me, I have not felt at all limited by this item.

With Star Wars Squadrons recently coming out it's been hard to get flight stick/HOTAS systems anywhere. My real intent on wanting this system is the included rudder pedals for running Microsoft Simulator. The controls are very easy to use but, if you're going to use them for a flight sim, I'd recommend getting a chair or a stand to hold/strap them down. Since hooking it up I've got over 17 hours of near realistic flight simulator time. Next step...V/R!!

These things were made to fit with Elite Dangerous in their color choices. Tons of buttons, but I understand the criticism in reviews on physical placement of the hat switch on the top and the buttons on the base can be awkward to find your way around. I frequently have to look at it in order to know which one I am pressing, which was fine-ish with the first one I got which didn't get super bright until you floored it in one direction. Unfortunately mine developed some issues with drift and return to neutral. I kept increasing the deadzone to try and compensate, but eventually had to touch base with Thrustmaster. The service was meh, but they did replace it under warranty and send me a new joystick at no charge. Which is where I touch on the dumb lights at the base of the joystick... the replacement model they sent me doesn't have the issues with drift, but Thrustmaster at some point replaced the correlative lighting with a very, very bright constant light. You will find complaints about that feature all over the internet and I keep meaning to snip the wires because it's very distracting when you're playing something dark like Elite Dangerous and keep having to look right into that light to determine which base button you're ambiguously about to push. All in all very solid though, it was a massive upgrade from the T-Flight and works great with the Monstertech chair mounts, even if those will drive you to bankruptcy. Most of the buttons and trigger feel fine, but some of the hat choices on the throttle seem silly. You get used to it though.

Thrustmaster has always had a (nostalgic) place in my heart since the 90s! This is no exception!

Currently using this for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020. No issues at my usage level. A yoke may be better for certain planes, however, this is good enough for a casual flyer such as myself. The throttle unit is sturdy and grips the surface well. Only gripe would be some notchiness in the throttle glide mechanism. Perhaps I need to lubricate it a little. the Joystick is precise and does not have much of a center dead zone. The foot rudder control adds a bit of realism to virtual flying.

Difficult to understand connection to computer - the download part but I’m not good at that. Fun once it’s up and running

Good entry-level package for new sim pilots. Im sure that you can spend more for other brands, but Im happy with my purchase. If you are getting into flight sims or flight-based gaming, a set-up like this makes a big difference. And the package deal offers some savings compared to buying these three items separately. Recommended

I have been using this combo for about a month now and I do not have anything negative to say about it. The Joystick is sturdy and easy to use. The throttle has the right amount of resistance the you do not accidentally change power output when using the buttons on it. The only change that I have made is using a label maker to add the button numbers on the buttons.

I wanted the flight stick + throttle for Elite Dangerous and decided to spring for the pedals for Flight Sim 2020. This is a nice joystick combo with tons of buttons. I wish the throttle had a some kind of haptic feedback for the center position but otherwise for the price I am happy. Only real complaint. This is my first joystick purchase in about 15 years and I can't believe they still haven't figured our a way to neatly store the wire when not in use.

Works great! I use it for X-Plane 11 and have not had any issues. Only minor critique would be the rudder pedals feel a little sticky, though I don’t think many people will be training on a flight sim with them. Great budget sim controls though and it DOES work on Mac systems (as long as it has USB ports).

Forthe money, decent stick for casual gaming. Upgraded the throttle slider bearings with a set sold on Etsy and was noticeable smoother and firmer. I bought both the guy's poly and metal bearing, then ended up configuring them as 3 poly / 1 metal bearing and it gives excellent smoothness withjust the right amount of slide feedback - wonderful!

Hard to find a solid package like this for space and flight sims at this price. It checks all the boxes. For the enthusiast, one might desire different placement of certain buttons, but overall this is the best option to fulfill the full range of equipment for being all in on capabilities it provides. For the cost cannot beat it.
