I paid $200 for this racing wheel after reading many reviews about this type of controller. I like the looks of this specific brand but it has it's short comings. It is made entirely of plastic aside from the shift paddles, which gives it a very generic feel. It looks WAY better in pictures. The mounting clamp already broke after only four uses, it is made of plastic! I started to regret this purchase at that time. I made due with the broken mounting system and brushed it off as clamping it down to tight, UNTILi realized that the shift paddles were starting to rust right through the paint! This unit had not ever seen a spec of water as it only has ever been inside it's own box and my living room. Where the rust is coming from I could not even speculate. Aside from the issues which make it nearly unusable, it happens to be a very responsive controller with plenty of force feedback. In fact, the wheel has ripped itself out of my hands a few times. I took a leap of faith and bought this controller based on other peoples feedback. Obviously all the reviews I saw were from before anybody actually spent time with this cheap piece of overpriced trash. Do yourself a favor and save up a little more for the Logitech then thanks me later. Best Buy seems to sell some shady merchandise.

Hardly works with any older racing games on PC

Been itching to play all my racing games with a steering wheel so I did a little research to see which were highly rated and settled on the Thrustmaster T150...plus it was the only one Best Buy had in stock and i didn't feel like waiting 2 days from Amazon. All I wanted to do was play all my racing games I've bought over the years on Steam and Origin. I have so many and thought all of them would feel like new playing with a wheel now! Got home, set it all and tested out the first game. 2007's GRID. Ok, lets go to the options and select my trusty new T150 wheel. Hhhhhhuuuh. Not showing up in the settings. Lemme google that. First thread forum I find is people asking why the GRID games don't support the T150. Ugh. Ok, let's try out TrackMania Canyon! Cool..steering controls work. 3.2.1. GO! Pedals wont make car go vrrrrmm. Can't even remap the T150 settings in the options. Alright...remain calm. Maybe Flatout 3 will work. Sweet...T150 shows up in controls. Let me map them since all the maps are empty for some reason. Cool..all set. 3...2..1..GO! Car flies back in reverse on its own. Hitting brake pedal accelerates the car, letting go reverses it. COME ON!!!!!!!!!!!! In summation....if you're looking to play older games like 2007's Grid, some of the Dirt series, Flatout, older NFS games or the Trackmania series...don't bother with this wheel. Either the wheel isn't supported at all or if the game does see it, the pedals don't work correctly. Even after mapping them the pedals are usually reversed (brake on accel and accel on brake) or something else doesn't work. I got it to work on 2012's NFS Most Wanted but it didn't feel right and there were no options to change steering sensitivity/deadzone and all that. My PC is pretty brand new too so that's not the issue. i7 7700K, GTX 1080 GPU, Win 10, SSD drive, latest updates. Been messing with it for a couple hours now and I'm just putting it back in the darn box and returning it. Too frustrated to even bother seeing what other racing games I have it doesn't work with. It might work awesome on PS4 but it only supports 2 of the 9 racing games I have on PS4. Not worth $200 + tax to play 2 games with a wheel so I didn't even bother seeing how well it worked with those games on a PS4 vs the horrible results I was getting on PC.

    Awesome entry level wheel

I’ve only had this wheel for a few hours. Upon unboxing this tm t150 I noticed a quality built but made with cheap materials but at $160 I cannot complain. The wheel is quite small but this doesn’t bother me. The buttons on the wheel seem to be placed nicely. The whole wheel unit itself has some weight to it an feels nice and sturdy in your hands. THe plastic grips are cheap but they are very functional. The pedals are made of plastic and are kinda cheap but again have a good and progressive resistance to them. Once again they build quality it’s very good, they materials used are on the cheaper side but I have to doubts that this wheel won’t last a while. On they back of the wheel there are port to let you interchange the pedals with upgaded one if you choose to go down that route. There is a port to add a gear shift also!! This wheel is a true plug and play wheel. I only had a little time to play gt sport and project cars. I was blown away by the performance of this $160 wheel the force feedback is very strong an responsive and solid !!! This is the first I’ve ever used a force feedback wheel and it was very easy to get used it and make really got lap times. If your a fan of driving and playing racing sims you really should consider getting a force feedback wheel for your console because up till now I had been missing out !!!! PS I even had my girlfriend playing project cars running the 125cc kart she loves the t150 as well!!!

The set up instructions are for older pc opp systems.Window 10 users, look for a you tube video. IF you can find 1! They refer you to :control panel to set up the controls, Finding it on windows 10 might take a while. Because of the helical gears meshing you will feel the gears clicking when on the straight away. When making very slight movements to keep it straight you will be 1 gear click left or rite. I've put 50 some hrs.and its getting less noticeable Until it goes away, you will suffer a bit keeping it in a straight line. Button placement: Hands at 2 and 10 to make that turn....look down at the wheel to find them, Unless your thumb.is double jointed you'll never get to them. Being on the inside of the wheel, it's a reach. Pedals: Get the three set. The brake feel is the key to better lap times(can be modified easily} Don't have to use the clutch.. Out of the box is great though, your lap time will show it. Force feed back is great when ya get it set(not hard takes some time}. Feel of the tire slip is surprising! For $200ish weekend warriors will be.. awesome!

I've been using this product for about 7 months and the wheel works pretty well on the PS4. The pedals for this product on the other hand are not so great. I am an older adult and treat my pedals gently but after 7 months of light to moderate use, the pedals became less responsive and then the spring on the accelerator failed making the pedals useless. This is a problem that can be found doing a quick internet search. This was purchased as a gift for me and since I can't provide the receipt, I cannot get a replacement spring under warranty and I'm not going to pay 6 dollars and shipping for a replacement. ( I fixed it myself with a modified spring from the hardware store for about $1.50.) I would not recommend/purchase this or any ThrustMaster product again after the endless excuses emails with tech support.

This is not a high-end wheel but for the price paid I think it's a very good value. The force feedback works pretty good and it seems to be compatible with almost every game I have that uses a wheel. A few sore spots: I wish it had a few more buttons on it. Some of the games use a lot of different buttons. Also, the clamp that fastens it to the table works pretty good but I was concerned about overtightening it. A few times when I was driving rather aggressively, it moved out a bit and I had to loosen the whole thing up and seat it back against the desktop and re-tighten. The pedals slide a little on the floor too, probably depends on what kind of floor you have. Since I purchased this I bought a Wheelstand Pro so that I can leave it mounted to the frame and then just move it out of the way when it's not needed. The clamp seems to hold on well to the wheelstand.

I was looking for wheel that could work across as many systems as possible. This one came the closest without breaking my wallet. I enjoy racing games on both my PS4 and Hyperspin arcade. I upgraded the standard 2 pedals with a 3 pedal setup and added the shifter. Together with a driving rig, I own a driving arcade that works on all my racing games. The force feedback is reliable on PS4 and the ability to play arcade classics like Crusin' USA on MAME on PC is the absolute best. The TMX wheel works on Xbox One, but I only own Forza 7 and haven't purchased that wheel yet. Love my T150!

Rather than use a PC bridge or spend nearly half the price of this wheel on a Cronus MAX to use my previous Driving Force GT on my PS4, I pulled the trigger and bought the T150s. No regrets. As many have said, the pedals are obviously not the greatest , but for an entry level FF wheel they're certainly comparable to the DFGT's set, plus you have the ability to upgrade down the road to the 3 pedal set. The wheel itself feels great, and the full size paddles (compared to the DFGT's) are a godsend. I find myself occasionally missing the shifter, but this too can be added on separately (altho I wish they'd make a lower end version!) All in all a very well done product, usable across PS3, PS4, and PC, and it just works.

I've been looking for a wheel to use on my PC for awhile. I found this one on sale at my local Best Buy for under $150 and with rewards, had a final price under $125 - a great deal for a wheel and pedals! This is my first steering wheel, so I don't have much comparison, but I've really enjoyed using it so far. The only thing I don't like is that it seems a little noisy when turning, especially when turning quickly. It self-centers pretty well. I also really liked that it came with a set of pedals. There is no clutch, but my main game (Farming Simulator) couldn't use one anyway, so it's fine for me.

I purchased this wheel to use with Forza 7 on PC. Set up was very easy and straight forward. The wheel works well, with plenty of force feedback and very little lag. The only issue I have had is switching from Forza 7 to Horizon 3. The settings that I have in 7 don't cross over into Horizon, so I have to reconfigure the wheel each time. I am not blaming the wheel for this, it's just a hassle. Other than that the wheel has a good feel to it with metal paddle shifters and a nice texture. The pedals are adjustable and need to be plugged into the wheel. Plenty of wire is provided.

This wheel is fantastic for its price. Force feedback is excellent. It makes Gran Turismo Sport a much more enjoyable experience playing it with a wheel instead of a controller. Only downside is the wheel itself is not removable to upgrade with a different wheel. The stock wheel feels fine though so it really isn't necessary. Also found out the T3PA pedals that came with the TMX Pro setup for the 1X will work with this wheel so that saved $100 not having to buy the T150 Pro. Overall an excellent wheel for the price.

Not bad for what you pay for. I don’t mean that it’s cheap by any means, but the pedal set is made of plastic and feels a bit cheap. Overall it’s absoultly amazing, the steering wheel is amazing and the feedback is nice and smooth. I was recommended this setup and was happy to get it. If the base was a little more solid, I’d give it a 5. I would recommend considering the T300 series and up if you wanted something more than entry level OR Ricmotech if you’re serious about a driving simulator.

I bought this steering wheel at 2pm on 7/13 (Friday the 13th, mind you) and I've been working steadily at getting it running up until now, 12:30am July 14th. I've plugged it into every 2.0 and 3.0 port on my computer. I've installed the latest drivers 20 times. I even installed old drivers and got the wheel installed, but it refused to update to the new drivers. What happened to plug and play? This thing isn't recommended unless you really enjoy troubleshooting for 8-10 hours straight.

The wheel itself is great. Very responsive. Works perfectly with the PSVR. The pedals are great, except they are kind of close together. They have a little cheaper plastic feel, but work fine. You might want to weight them down or mount them. When I’m driving hard, the pedals sometimes come off the ground.

Great product, I didn't want to have to buy a new wheel, but the one I already had for my PS3 wasn't compatible with my PS4, which really upset me, why would they do that, to get you to buy another wheel! I put it off long enough, I got my PS4 when they first came out, but now I really needed the wheel for all the VR driving games that are out, and coming out. The wheel and pedal work great and connect easily to my driving seat.

The haptic feedback is killer and really adds to the realism of racing titles like Drive Club VR, with a PSVR it's like you are really there. Definitely improves accuracy over using a shock controller. The foot pedals give the control needed for intuitively braking, and backing up, while the accelerator has just the right resistance to mimic real world pedals. Bonus the fact this can used with either PS4 and/or PC.

    Crapped Out After 2 Months

I bought this as a birthday present for my boyfriend two months ago. Last night, when he plugged the wheel in to play his PS4, we could smell something that smelled like paint fumes or as if something was burning. Today, when he went to use it, it wouldn't calibrate when he plugged it in and the force feedback was broken when he tried to steer the wheel to the right. I bought this item because there were so many great reviews and now I completely regret my decision. Not worth the $200 that I wasted.

I bought this wheel to replace one of the old RUMBLE FORCE wheels that wouldn't calibrate anymore. This thing is awesome in comparison to the old one. I mainly do simulators like ats, NASCAR heat 2 and ets among others. It works great!! In the NASCAR game, you can tell how loose or tight your car is based on the force feedback it puts out. Love this wheel. I will say it makes a little noise here and there but I expect that with non top of the line wheel.

I bought this wheel to use with racing sims in VR using the Oculus Rift, and it works great for its intended purpose. It lacks some of the polish of the more expensive Logitech racing wheels, but gets the job done, feels sturdy, and comes with pedals. It took some tweaking to get it to work correcly with Assetto Corsa, but once configured, it gives good control, useful force feedback, and gives more immersion in the game, as well as being easier to use than a standard game pad.

So this is an absolutely AWESOME product, amazing for it's money, but it needs one improvement to get the full 5 stars from me. The pedals that come with it are very plastic feeling, if they could be improved at all then that would be awesome! Now for the actual steering wheel, a lot of the better wheels I have used at friends houses feel similar to this wheel which to me for being a 300 dollar wheel vs an 800 dollar wheel is really good that it feels that premnium
