Thule’s tough reputation is what influenced my purchase and so far it meets my expectations. I wanted a sleeve that was tougher than the standard foam sleeves. I like that the Thule sleeve could also be used to cradle my MacBook Air while in use. The sleeve fits well so the laptop doesn’t slide around inside. The sides are firm, good avoiding punctures. The zipper has thick teeth, assuring me that it will withstand a lot of use. The zipper doesn’t look waterproof. Overall it’s light yet sturdy, tough but elegant. It adds a little more thickness than the standard foam sleeve, giving the laptop more cushioning. There are no pockets for accessories, which is fine with me.

I needed a protective sleeve/case for a high end Ultrabook. This was just the right size and i was impressed by the degree of protection it offered. I realize it is intended for a Macbook but it met my needs for protecting a multi thousand dollar investment in the ultrabook. I do wish it had an outside pocket for the power adapter and dongles.

This case is wonderful. I accidentally left it on the top of my car with my brand new computer in it while driving 15 minutes to a restaurant. I got out of my car and saw it on the roof...it stuck to my car the whole ride there. Impressive. Being a student, I've also carried it to class through the rain a few times. No water gets in.
