I bought this for my new macbook pro 14 but when you get the item it says it is for the 13 inch Macbook Air and 13 in macbook pro. You can cram the 14 inch in there but its really tight.

Be careful closing your laptop in this case. There is a little strap that caused my Macbook screen to crack. The case seems very sturdy and durable, but if you close the case and laptop at the same time, the support strap may settle between your keyboard and screen, resulting in display damage.

The case is strong, flexible, soft in the interior. Provide an exelente comfort to the user.

The Thule Gauntlet 4 Attache' is the answer to my problems when it comes to traveling. First, I never felt worried about my MacBook while going through airport checks and during actual flights. Second, I never felt worried about my MacBook while using public transportation, Taxi's and RideShare services. Thirdly, I opted for taking it with me whenever I left hotel rooms! Its is comfortable enough to take to restaurants as opposed to leaving my MacBook alone in hotel rooms. Best of all, when I have to remove my shoes, coat, belt and bling through airport checks, which usually makes it a rough entrance into an airport terminal line, this Thule' - Gauntlet 4 Attache' was so much easier than the former travel cases I have used when traveling with my MacBook. All I did was walk up to the area at check in, took off my coat, shoes, etc. then set this in the bin they provided, unzipped the attache', took my MackBook out and in 10 seconds, that work was done! WOW! Easy to use and eliminating my worries about my MacBook getting damaged is a big benefit of owning this item. An added benefit is, I always knew I had my chargers, flash drives, backup ssd's and paper and pen with a notepad because they were privately packed neatly inside my new Thule - Gauntlet 4 Attache'. Great item! Great purchase!

Terrible flaw in case design by Thule. Opened our MacBook Pro to find the screen cracked. We purchased the case to protect our $2k MacBook Pro. And now knowing it’s the very reason for the damage because of a KNOWN design flaw. I couldn’t believe the reviews I tread today complaining about the same issue that caused our screen to crack. I also noticed it’s the same side of everyone’s computer screen that the strap damages. How does Best Buy & Thule continue to sell this case? You both are negligent in this matter by selling a case to your customers you know can & has multiple times, cracked the screen because the strap. Thule should also be responsible for the repair costs of every screen broke by this strap.

So apparently my 2015 13” MacBook Air actually measures 13.3” and is barely unable to fit.

I was so excited to get this bag to protect my Macbook. However, this bag caused my screen to crack. The inside straps that keep the top part of the bag sitting somewhat upright (and from flopping completely back) cracked my Macbook screen on the bottom right. Be sure to make sure that the inside straps do not get in the way of the screen at all. It can cause your screen to be damaged. Luckily, my Macbook does have a paid warranty, but I will still be out of pocket $99.00 to repair the damage caused by this case. I also do not leave near an Apple store; therefore, I am driving hours to get this repaired. Very disappointing. If it had been designed a little bit better, this would not have happened :'(

Previous to this THULE, I had a cocoon backpack that I really liked but it simply fell apart. I also found I shoved a lot of extra stuff in it and so it was always cluttered and filled with stuff. I really wanted something simple that would hold all my essentials but not the clutter I tend to carry. The THULE is just right. It holds my MacBook Pro and iPad safely inside plus just the right design space for the power cord and charger. My checkbook fits securely and there is just enough room for essentials only. It looks great and keeps the clutter down. I had someone stop me the other day and complement how nice the bag looked. This morning I stopped the car quickly and the bag went flying onto the floor but all was well protected inside. I would recommend this to anyone looking for something simple yet high quality. I would especially recommend it if you have a mac since it is custom tailored to fit just perfectly inside. Oh and the zipper is water resistant too so I'm not afraid to carry this around in the rain. I am very satisfied with my Thule.

The case is small, lightweight, tough and holds a surprisingly large amount of my stuff. I can fit the 15" retina macbook pro in here perfectly along with the charger, a slim external drive, some thumb drives a portable mouse and a small USB hub with no issues. I don't think the iPad folder inside is of much use for anything larger than 4 sheets of paper, unless maybe you're one of those folks who doesn't put his iPad in a case. I do though and maybe that adds too much girth to that pocket which makes closing and zipping the case a massive chore. Again, I LOVE this case and pretty much wish all laptop bags were this cool and sturdy.

At first, I was skeptical of this item as it is quite expensive for a simple laptop carrying case. However after over a year of use now, I am truly impressed with this items durability and the protection it gives my laptop. I have accidentally dropped this quite a few times and never damaged anything inside. Aside from being a laptop carrying case, it also contains enough room for a few simple office supplies, your charging cords, and an iPad or notebook. If I had to buy another similar item, my money is definitely going on a Thule product!

I really love this attaché for my Mac Pro laptop. I had another one for my former laptop, a 15”. It carries my laptop, charger and mouse, even a HDMI cable that I use for group presentations. Read in reviews that some folks use this to just open their attaché and use their laptop within it; there are 2 little straps in lower corners that can get caught in your laptop when you close it, and thus the possibility of cracking your laptop screen. I see them, but I don’t use my laptop while still in the case, so this is a moot subject for me. My laptop comes out of the case to use. In spite of this potential flaw, I love this case and hope Thule eliminates the straps to it just becomes a case! I like mine very much for the purposes I use it for…safety while in transit.

Had it for several weeks now, perfect size and appears will be good protection, no accidents yet so can't fully rate the protection. Enough space for everything you need.

Purchased for my wifes new 15 inch macbook, sleek and perfect storage compartments for accessories and other. Very light weight , and again sleek streamlined, perfect for travel and portability.

Love this case for my laptop! Plenty of space for papers, pens, charger, & the laptop. The case is harder so I’m not worried about my laptop getting hurt. It is easy to carry back & forth to work.

When I saw this case I had no doubt that it would protect my laptop, but it also looked great and provided great space for all the cords and charger. It also has pockets for documents that I might need. It's light, durable and I can use my laptop without taking it out of the case. I love it.
