Useful technology, poor battery life

Nice concept but aggrivating

Great idea and good publishing staff. but not worth the headaches for my phone to go off in the car, places or work! And its not easy to transfer to someone else if you don't like them.... Should be easier.

Lack of low-batt warning makes the device useless

I've owned several and two had an issue where the battery died many months before the one-year mark. The issue is that Tiles don't provide any "low battery" warning. So no one can predict when/if this might happen, and as a result I have lost an item that my Tile was attached to because the battery died right before the Tile+item was lost. To me that's a deal-breaker scenario given the purpose of the device. After the one-year mark it doesn't matter because by that time you should replace the battery anyways per Tile's recommendation.
