You are supposed to click the side button to pair with your phone. When you hit the button, no sound plays. Tile support says the battery is dead.

The application needlessly ask for permission for location services on ALL THE TIME. All I needed was the ability to find things around the house. Asking for full access to location is nonsensical. All you should need is Bluetooth. Moreover, I noticed that this artifact located my belongings at a location where my phone has never been to. Meaning that any phone with the Tile app can track your belongings and upload its location.

It barely lasted 6 months. Any Apple users out there I'd stay away from this and go with the Apple Airtag.

We get pretty good cell and internet service where we live but yet this device could never properly show where it was on my app. It’s supposed to track up to about 200 feet, it couldn’t even be tracked 60 feet away. We got it just in case our cat got outside and it absolutely would not have been accurate in any way that matters. I can’t believe this would’ve worked for anyone who needed to find their keys, wallet, remote control, etc.

While at the store I tried the new Tile and that one still didn't work. After bringing the Tile home and calling Tile support the issue has still not be resolved.

However, when its lost, the app does not function. The app closes as soon as I start it. I updated the app then restarted my phone. Still cant get it run. My concern is that re installation would wipe out the existing setting as I need to track down the lost tile. Spend your money else where
