It didn't work for me. It's too bulky, you can't reach under the furniture and narrow spaces. Can't use it for deep cleaning, it's good for everyday light cleaning only.

We have a drooler in our house that leaves spots on all of the floors. This is especially noticeable on the wood floors. We currently have a lot of dust / dirt flying around in our house due to a construction project. So I first tried cleaning the wood floors. It did a great job on the dirt and dust but not on the drool. The drool marks were hardly diminished. Then I tried it on tile and that went much better. It really cleaned the tile nice but just skimmed the grout. Where I really loved the product was on our textured epoxy basement floor. At first I thought it wasn't getting into the little ridges but a shift of the sun shining in showed me it was working very well. That water was very dirty. Suction is good and it doesn't soak the floor. The clean and dirty water reservoirs could be bigger but they are easy to empty and refill. I like that it comes with a plastic tray to set the damp machine into. Charging time for me was fine and it didn't really take 4 hours to recharge. NOTE: I received this product in exchange for my fair and unbiased review.

Overall, the Tineco iFloor Breeze cordless vacuum appears to do its job pretty well, and for me, this was a test for a brand that I had never heard of. The setup was pretty simple for the device. Its battery had actually already arrived fully charged, but I went ahead and plugged it in overnight (it probably doesn't need that long to charge) before giving it a go on some solid surfaces in my house. In fact, the instructions, while decent, were a bit redundant for me over the simplification of how this kind of device works: there's a container for water/solution, a container for "gray" water (what the device sucks up after usage), and then a roller (in this case) for scrubbing the floor. This is rather typical for wet/dry vacs like this. The solution that's included -- a Tineco-branded cleaner -- seems like it will last for several sessions, as you only use a cap-full of the solution for every time you fill up the water bin. Personally, I'll eventually use something like Pine-Sol solution, as I like its smell and I know that it's going to give me the clean I'm looking for (I don't know the cleanliness of Tineco's solution -- again, I've never heard of them before this test). There are two separate buttons to use on the vacuum -- one to turn it on, and one to regulate the solution flow to the roller. For me, this was the only area that I questioned, as there is an LED light at the top of the body of the device, and I had to match color/blink tempo with the instructions. It appears that you can set the vacuum to where, while it always seems to use solution, it will self-determine to what degree it needs the flow. So, if you're mopping particularly rough areas to clean, it appears that either you can increase the flow on demand, or it will sense when you need to. As far as battery life is concerned, I was able to mop an area of about 500 square feet with no noticeable struggle or drain of the battery. In fact, when I did push the head into an area that was tight, if it sensed that the roller was struggling, it would self-stop, produce a particular LED response, and once I removed it from the tight situation, I started vacuuming/mopping again with no issue. Clearly, the device has some smarts to it that prevent onerous situations that might ruin its internals. Overall, as mentioned, this appears to be a good wet/dry vacuum, and I'll soon be trying my own solution with it.

Horrible. This machine does a very poor job of cleaning and takes forever to clean the machine after and then you have to let it dry. It is very hard to take things apart and put back together. Just sweep or vacuum and mop. Much faster and easier. Worst invention ever.

Hi Marie, we're sorry to hear that you were dissatisfied with the cleaning power of the iFloor Breeze. The self-cleaning function of the vacuum was designed to cut down the time it takes to clean the machine after use. We hope that you find a cleaning solution that works best for you!

Rarely am I this impressed simply opening the packaging of a device but the Tineco iFloor gives a hint at how well it is engineered when you first open the box, you can’t help but marvel about how well everything fits, how little space, if any, is wasted and how logical the order of it all is. The documentation also shows great care was put into making your initial experience count. It is short but well laid out and explained. And again, the engineering shines when you put it together with one step and a simple but satisfying click. The real marvel though is in just how well this device works. I’ve been researching floor a hard floor cleaner for a few months now, so it was almost kismet that this product came my way. I’ve tried sponge mops, steam mops and disposable textile mops with solution sprayers attached and while they all had their positives, they invariably left me either a less than clean floor or a floor with streaks. All of them seemed to take longer than I would like (and as a result I wouldn’t do it that often) and were sort of a chore to lug around. The iFloor has none of these downsides. In fact, I am hard pressed to find ANY downsides to it and that’s rare for me in a product review. I can usually find at least something that I can point to or suggest, but in this case I really can’t. First, it does a REALLY good job at cleaning. I’ve used it on decades old vinyl tiling, mosaic bathroom floor tiles, composite flooring and pine solid wood. In every case it delivered a shiny clean floor that dried quickly with NO STREAKS. I mean NONE, not even overlap lines. The cleaner that comes with it is excellent and they give you a full-size bottle that will last a while (not the tiny samples that come with some floor cleaners) as well as a spare filter. The iFloor is very easy to setup and get filled. It’s also quick to use, lighter and less effort than a vacuum cleaner but the same general motion and technique. It’s a dream to handle and without a cord to tangle behind, you get done very quickly. My rooms are about average size and I’ve done more than one room on a charge. Full charge gets you 20 minutes, but I’d guess YMMV if you use extra sprays (which I only found necessary in heavily soiled areas) or have really big rooms to cover. Better still, it’s just as easy to clean and maintain the iFloor. It comes apart logically and simply and even has a self-cleaning function to keep the water flow system working. All of this means that the entire process from start to finish takes a fraction of the time the other methods I listed take. I find myself actually looking forward to doing a quick clean instead of dreading it. It also means you can get your floors looking great in case you have unexpected company coming. As I said, I have been looking for a hard floor cleaner for a while now as I only have carpeting on my second floor. I’d get excited about something, then I’d start to read the reviews and be disappointed. But the iFloor is my new favorite Best Buy acquisition. The price is super competitive in the market and almost underpriced when you consider how well it works and the consistently superior results it produces. I also checked and you can get replacement brushes, filters, and solution from Tineco’s website (also reasonably priced). I should also mention; this is really designed to be used on already vacuumed floors as you’d end up sucking up a lot of dirt and debris into the wastewater tank. Not that this is a problem for the vacuum, which has a good amount of suction. I used mine on vacuumed floors, but when emptying out my tank I discovered that I had missed two shards of glass from a breakage a few weeks ago. Nice job, iFloor; you saved me a painful discovery if I was walking around barefoot! I cannot recommend this floor cleaner highly enough. If you have any bare floors in your house, you owe it to yourself to buy this. It turns cleaning from a chore to a quick and easy task you'll almost look forward to..

While it is bothersome to have to take a part everytime after you clean the floors, it's well worth it. This thing picks up so much nastyness off the floor and for a household that lives out in the "Country," with lots of dirt, and other debris being brought into the house, it sure does a great job of making our floors clean. Overall this thing is great, so much so we're going to get my sister-in-law one because it beats the heck out of mopping.
