Quality, but just a little head scratching
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Having used multiple Stick Vacuum's over the last few years, this one was pretty good, but just fell a little short in one or two areas. First: They put a lot of time in to the way this one LOOKS. It has a high tech, clear and polished look. Using some clear plastics to see the insides (including the battery). Makes it a little cooler when it sits on the wall, BUT!! I think it was necessary. I store this in a laundry room, and out of site... so that time and energy that went into making this look like a cool device, just really is a nice to have and doesn't really bring anything to it. As a vacuum, it is relatively well balanced, and easy to use. Flows easy. For my 6 foot hight, I think it was just a little bit too short. Still very usable, but I found myself with a slight lean when using it. The batter lasted respectively long, comparable to just about every other brand out there that I have used. I didn't care for the MAX/AUTO button on the power. It didn't respond fast enough for my liking, and would have rather had a physical switch, then a push button. That said, there is a physical toggle bar/switch, for the activation button in the handle... kinda nice to have, so it can stay running even when my finger isn't there. (kinda like a power tool)... I just think over time, that thin plastic is going to break on it. we will see. By biggest concern (and the loss of one star). is that that it seems there are consumables that have to be replaced and not just washed and reused. with call out stickers telling me that some of the filters should be replaced in as short as 3 months. I was a little disappointed in that, even though we did get 1 year's worth of the main filter (per their recommendations). The mounting/charging base took a minute to figure out where all the parts go... and still there is one accessory included that doesn't mount to it. Custom power cable/plug is okay, but concerned if something ever brakes on it, that I won't be able to get a quick replacement. Overall for the price and performance, this is a good option for most.

So far, it's been great. It's picking up a LOT of dust from hardwood floors & it's quiet enough my dogs don't get involved... large dog - gets mad at loud vacuums... glares at it and sulks into another room small dog - wants to attack loud vacuums until she can "save the babies" (a method I use to keep her occupied - toss a toy near the vacuum so she'll save it and let me clean floors). I haven't used the attachments yet. This reminds me of Shark Rocket - which didn't last for me at all... crossing toes this'll last a long time.

Instructions for set up were intuitive and well written. We ordered this because we're in our 80's and I swear that the cords on vacuums are out to get us. This CORDLESS product solves that problem! I think we were wise to check out best cordless vacuums in Consumers Report. The Tineco products were at the top of the list.

Great Choice

I purchased it because my cat tracks litter everywhere. My other vacuums are heavy and it hurts my back to carry or push them around. My floors are cleaner than they have ever been. I vacuum around the litter box 2-3 times daily.

We did research and decided to go with the Tineco based on Consumer Reports and reviews. So glad we did! The run time is much longer, and the attachments are awesome!! Highly recommend spending a few extra dollars for the Tineco!

Nice Vacuum w/lots of accessories

It's reasonably lightweight and charges quickly. I was able to get through the whole house with a single charge. The charging station allows for an extra battery to be charging at the same time as the one attached to the vac. The suction is real good, and it tends to adjust as you move across rugs that are thicker so that it glides easier. One added bonus was the pre-filter suction tool. I've not seen one of these with a vacuum like this before, but it makes sense it should exist. It's a small tube that allows you to clean the filter, with suction, for reuse. I've had Dyson stick vacs like this, and this performed just as good as those. I don't really understand the need for the wifi feature. Unless it's a robot vac that's going to move about the house cleaning on a schedule, I see no need for wifi. I would recommend this to others.

It does well on carpet flooring but I would prefer an additional upright vacuum for any type of deep cleaning.

Initial thoughts are the sweeper has cleaned the carpet very well and appears to work as advertised. We had problems down loading the app for the phone and decided not to bother with it. We look forward to seeing how the product performs over time.
