Excells at Multiplayer

Rainbow six Siege is a bit of a conundrum. While there is no single player campaign, there are single player missions that are alright at best, and tedious at worst. Where Siege really shines though is the multiplayer. From the excellent terrorist hunt to your usual variations of multiplayer. I really wanted to rate it 5 stars but the lack of a Campaign prevents me from doing so.

Solid game, can be difficult to get into

R6 Siege is a solid FPS. I found it difficult to jump into as I got it after the game had been out for a while. It takes a while to learn the map layouts and what to do/where to hide online; this is the case for most online games, but is crucially important in this game due to your reliance on teamwork. Make sure you run through all the training missions first or it's pretty easy to be completely lost when you jump online.

Really Fun Game - With a Very High Learning Curve

I really enjoyed the original Rainbow Six games, which placed an emphasis on stealth, planning, and methodical missions. The franchise kind of branched out into a more "arcadey" FPS but Rainbow Six Siege is really returning to its roots.
Missions demand teamwork, patience, and use of your operator's gadgets and abilities. It's frustrating how the in-game currency works for unlocking weapon attachments, skins, and operators, but that's pretty standard fare for games (thanks Call of Duty).
The true joy of this game happens when you blast down a wall with your shotgun, melt a floor with your explosives, shock an enemy operator with your stun drone, or knock down a door with a massive sledgehammer. The game has a very, very steep learning curve, but one that is rewarding. There are tons of gadgets and tactics to learn, and the maps are INCREDIBLY detailed. It takes many, many hours to learn each nook and cranny for hiding, ambushing, and outsmarting your enemies.
No one is truly safe in these maps. It's an enjoyable game if you can get it for less than $20.

Rainbow six siege is a great game I've been a rainbow six fan for a long time this game didn't disappoint it does have a few server issues from time to time and the lack of a campaign mode may put off some but if you're a fan of the series I'd definitely give it a try also all the dlc maps and operators will be available free good to see dlc policy like this and halo 5

So far I am enjoying the multi-player aspects of the game but I miss the single-player campaign of the original Xbox 360 game.
Visuals are good and give you one of the best experiences available on Xbox One. If you enjoy multi-player games that require close coordination between teammates, you need look no further.

Great game, if you are a fan or more realistic shooters. A little disappointing if you were huge fans of rainbow 6 Vegas 2. Can't select game modes, maps, customize characters at all, or weapons that much. Probably will trade in for the Division. Still worth getting now while there aren't many other good games out.

I played the beta and enjoyed it, but felt like something was lacking. I didn't buy this on release day. A month after release, I'm playing at a friends and noticed how much better the game is from the last beta in terms of feel. So I went out and bought it. Now I'm addicted. The game is intense and requires a lot of mic-talk in the PvP portion. Things can get crazy and requires a lot of patience and thought to be successful. The great thing is that if you get bored with PvP, you can always play Terrorist Hunt mode and work as a 4 player team to take down enemy AI in different situations to advance your character.
The two elephants in the room for me are this: 1) No campaign. I would have loved a campaign. And as much as I thought the game wasn't worth $60 because it was lacking one, I'm wrong. The campaign would just be icing on the cake. I think it could have been fun and unique. 2) It takes way too long to accrue in-game currency (you earn it via your performance in PvP and PvE). It's like pulling teeth, imo.
Overall, great game, good experience, and very intense.

This game is great. Fun with friends. I do feel like they rushed it. The situations (campaign) are just little missions that are only single player. You can play classic terrorist hunt and multiplayer as well. Not a whole lot of customization. Overall I give it a 4/5. Could be better in a lot of ways.

It's back on the next gen systems and although the ability to take cover is gone (booo) the overall game is gripping and a lot of fun to play. The graphics and audio are much improved but there is also not a single player campaign. But don't think you have to do multi-player for this title...so long as you have an internet connection you can still do the various game situations (which is you versus the PC) and you can also do lone wolf terrorist hunt. Of course the real fun to be had if you're not too shy is the multiplayer and although it's a bit wonky at times with hit detection recent patches have improved it a good bit.
If you've played R6 on previous systems or you are just sick of the run and gun of the Call of Duty's of the world, this is the thinking mans answer to your proverbial prayers!

This is a fun and intense game, if you're playing with right people. Otherwise, it can be frustrating. Unfortunately, your experience with Rainbow Six Siege is totally dependent on your online experience. The game is fun and looks good, but I would have loved to have a campaign/story mode.

One of the excellent games. First off I need to talk about the lack of a single player campaign, one could argue there are Situations, but that is no campaign. That leaves you with Terrorist Hunt, which can be played solo or cooperatively online. And the multiplayer, which I'll get into soon
The Terrorist Hunt mode is endlessly replayable. Always offering a challenge of smart AI, as well as dynamic and intense encounters that never play out the same
Situations are about 10 missions that teach you some of the games mechanics, very basic, but decent
Now the multiplayer is the gem here, it's unfairly judged for its lack of customization, zero character creation and limited weapon choice. However if you judge it based on that you're missing the point, this game is to be played like chess, slow thought out menouvers and actions to counter act those of another player. One agent can always counter act another, so each player is highly important. Also this is the most competitive and intense multiplayer I've played

One of the best multiplayer shooter out there. Communication with your team is a must. This game is different than other because it requires you to have a strategy if you want to be successful. As an Army veteran, I really enjoy the game play. I think this is currently the most realistic game out there.

This game is well made and has really fun multiplayer. The only downside is that there is a severe lack of a single player campaign which was one of the best parts of Vegas 2. Otherwise, it's a great game to pick up and play. Games last 15 minutes on average.

There is no true campaign story mode - only single player missions. This is mainly a multiplayer game. Not having a campaign is a let down but it is still a fun game. If you are not familiar with tactical shooters, it can take some time to get used to.

I would agree that Rainbow Six Siege is a very "intense" game. The ability to choose from different Counter-Terrorist Operators makes the game more real. Game helps you become a leader in reference to team-based combat that you can also use another games.

Overall the game is fun, it's mostly an online game with the exception of situations which are basically just short missions that teach you the controls, there is no campaign mode unfortunately. Graphics look pretty nice but not the best out there.

Great game. The shooting reminds me of CS:go. Communication is key to winning. Only problem is the servers can getting annoying. Not letting people connect to a game or not able to join friends. But when they do work its tons a fun
