This is a very fun and strategic game. It’s a good game to play with your friends online and I never get tired of playing it. I’ve always wanted to own this game because of its popularity and how action-packed it is. This was a great purchase.

I have spent many days playing online multiplayer and I can't stop gushing about how much fun I have had. This game is unlike most other shooters, and most other Rainbow Six game that has previously been released. Heads up that there isn't any type of campaign for this game. Think of it similar to Titanfall. You have the ability to fly solo, but for the most part you will be engaged in online multiplayer. Two teams of five start out with one minute of prep. The defending team secures an item or area and the offending team drives drones throughout a centralized building trying to locate that item/area that is being secured. Once that minute is up, game on. Everyone has one life and the game has a time limit around five minutes. The defending team will do everything they can including watching windows, doorways or roofs, and maybe setting up traps along the way. The offending team is destructing everything in sight including kicking down windows, blowing through floors, and shooting through walls to either kill off the opposing team or secure the objective. Almost every game is a new experience with new people with new abilities and different play styles so nothing ever feels repetitive. It doesn't matter if you are on offense or defense, this game is intense from start to finish. Cons: No campaign and so far the servers have been really jerky Pros: Everything else. Seriously. I'm impressed and can't get enough of this gameplay. Buy it

Online only game. The only single player aspects are some "situations", which are training camps for different operators. Everything else is online, so make sure you're mic'd up for this game. Teamwork is a must. After leveling up to 20 in Casual Multiplayer, Ranked players take this quite a bit more seriously. Graphics are great; destruction across the map, bullet trails, etc. Sound is really good, actually. Play in a quiet room, you'll need to hear the enemy movement to get a drop on them. The only thing that is a CON for this game is their SERVERS! For an online only, when the servers are down, what can you do? That was a big problem a couple of months ago, now it appears that their servers are doing ok, for now. All in all, great game, addicting, and with more operators coming out throughout the year, you'll be in the honeymoon phase with this game for a good while.

This game has it's moments. It can be a *ton* of fun, but there are a few major flaws keeping it from true greatness. One of the bigger ones is the number of cheaters out there. I can deal with one or two, but the number of untraceable hacks out there is unfortunate (PC is bad, Xbox has less from what I've seen, though still numerous). There are glitches here and there- normally I wouldn't sweat them, but they are intentional and hide things that will one-hit-kill you...which makes you have to wait a bit to get back to it. The concept is cool, the graphics are nice enough, but I feel like it needed a little more time in the oven. Worth checking out if you are interested in tactical shooters for sure, there isn't much else like it and it definitely has it's awesome and tense moments. Not much SP content- enough to give you an idea of some of the things to expect, so this is a "best with friends on the net" affair.

It's back on the next gen systems and although the ability to take cover is gone (booo) the overall game is gripping and a lot of fun to play. The graphics and audio are much improved but there is also not a single player campaign. But don't think you have to do multi-player for this title...so long as you have an internet connection you can still do the various game situations (which is you versus the PC) and you can also do lone wolf terrorist hunt. Of course the real fun to be had if you're not too shy is the multiplayer and although it's a bit wonky at times with hit detection recent patches have improved it a good bit. If you've played R6 on previous systems or you are just sick of the run and gun of the Call of Duty's of the world, this is the thinking mans answer to your proverbial prayers!

Is an incredibly fun and rewarding multiplayer fps. Unlike call of duty of battlefield, rainbow six siege has a pretty decently sized learning curve. It requires teamwork, experience, attention to sounds such as Windows breaking etc, and most of all, map knowledge. It took me months to learn all of the maps well enough such that I could roam, flank, etc. Ubisoft is updating siege, and has been for the past 2 years. They've added new maps such as the newest map; Theme park. Siege has a lot of replay value, and just when you think you have it down, it's gives you something new to learn. The servers kind of suck though, as it can sometimes kick you out of casual and ranked matches randomly. There is also a fairly large number of smurfs, especially at high silver/Low gold. This makes it increasingly difficult to climb out of these ranks as you see yourself playing against platinum and diamond players.

One of the most intense multiplayer games ever. Very sophisticated game play. Really realistic from in and out. Characters and weapons are awesome. For the price I paid it was definitely worth it.

This is, hands down, the best team-based FPS ever created. This is NOT for little kids, and NOT for "run and gun" COD fanatics. This is tactical, realistic, team-based, communication oriented, and serious. You can't "carry" your team like in COD. Your health will NOT regenerate. You have ONE life. You die, you're DONE for the round. 5 v 5. Attacks vs Defenders, winner takes all. Did I mention that all DLC is FREE? Ubisoft made a winner here.

The game is great I love that it's a tactical game and u gotta work with ur team to win its not like cod that u can just rush, the only downfall is the server issues, sometimes u can play with friends and sometimes it won't even let u start a match I've also been disconnected from the server bunch of times apart from this the game is great when the issues don't happen

Great Online Multiplayer, But No Single Player

The Rainbow Six franchise has always been known for having great tactical team based gameplay and this game is no different. However, this game is is primarily intended for multiplayer online gaming. The gameplay is a blast to play with friends online and others in the online community but there are not many game modes to choose from. There are competitive modes like the standard 5 V 5 death match and cooperative modes like 5 player Terrorist Hunt. Every mode is well crafted and you will spend plenty of time learning the ins and outs of each map. My only gripe is the lack of single player content. Although there are a few short training missions to familiarize you with the gameplay, there is absolutely no story mode, which is absolutely disappointing for fans of previous games in the franchise.

If you have friends to play this game with it can be fun. It lacks content to make it a game worth hanging on to. I like the graphics and the realism but overall it does not justify the price tag. I found it fun for a week with a friend I played after that, I sold the game back to Best Buy.

Really Fun Game - With a Very High Learning Curve

I really enjoyed the original Rainbow Six games, which placed an emphasis on stealth, planning, and methodical missions. The franchise kind of branched out into a more "arcadey" FPS but Rainbow Six Siege is really returning to its roots. Missions demand teamwork, patience, and use of your operator's gadgets and abilities. It's frustrating how the in-game currency works for unlocking weapon attachments, skins, and operators, but that's pretty standard fare for games (thanks Call of Duty). The true joy of this game happens when you blast down a wall with your shotgun, melt a floor with your explosives, shock an enemy operator with your stun drone, or knock down a door with a massive sledgehammer. The game has a very, very steep learning curve, but one that is rewarding. There are tons of gadgets and tactics to learn, and the maps are INCREDIBLY detailed. It takes many, many hours to learn each nook and cranny for hiding, ambushing, and outsmarting your enemies. No one is truly safe in these maps. It's an enjoyable game if you can get it for less than $20.

If you're tired of recent first person shooters that do not incorporate tactical gameplay, this is the game for you. There's a ton of tactical options to choose from. There is no campaign, but for this game there doesn't have to be. It would have felt tacked on if it were. Overall great tactical shooter to play with your buddies.

I simply cannot stop playing this game. This is by far (along with SW Battlefront) the best video game of 2016 so far. The graphics are amazing and the tactical squad based situations are just compelling as ****. I've had this game from day 1, and I still jump whenever a suicide bomber comes around the corner and detonates. This game is a must for any FPS fans...

Variation from CoD & Halo, tactical online action

All 3 of my boys used to play Rainbow Six Vegas in the 360 a few years back. They're big CoD & Halo fans... they love good shooters. Now, they're all playing R6 Siege online against each other loving the realistic, tactical action. If you like online shooters & want a bit of a different take than that of CoD or Halo, pick up R6 Siege for a more tactical experience.
