Is a lot of fun, the story is good, and you never get bored , there is a lot of thinking.

Who knew Tomb Raider would show up with dignity again. Great gameplay, good origin story, a lot of collectibles for completionists. Actual Tomb Raiding is kinda weak since they are basically small dungeons and/or caves with a treasure in them, but since they are such a small addition to the actual story/game it doesn't cripple the game. This is a fun addicting game, can't wait for the next one.

I have never really been a fan of the Tomb Raider franchise. But, this reboot changed my stance on the series by finally creating what I consider a very compelling plot mixed with superb game mechanics and graphics. No longer is Lara the "ultimate" spelunking machine. She is a normal young woman thrust into an impossible situation who grows throughout the game. I just wish it had been a longer game.

I can't believe it took me this long to play this game. I was never a fan of Tomb Raider, but now I am. The game is beautifully made, and easy to play. Everything was simple which allowed me to focus on the great story it told. You have to play it, especially since the sequel is coming out this fall.

I accidentally bought this game by mistake. I meant to buy the new version (Rise of the Tomb Raider), but bought this instead. We have played it some and it has been fun playing it too. The graphics are not as good as the second one, but it still have been fun playing.

So I bought this for my 12 year old daughter because she only likes to play video games if they have girl character's.. now Lara Croft is her new favorite person. She really enjoys playing this game.. Not sure if boys would dig it but definitely cool for girls.

This is the best tomb raider game to date. Nice visuals and gameplay but the tombs are pretty easy.

The reboot of the Tomb Raider series was definitely a hit. The Definitive Edition includes the base game as well as all previous DLC in an updated version for the current gen consoles and it's definitely worth it, especially if you intend on playing the sequel.

I enjoyed playing the original tomb raider games, but this game is a giant leap forward. The flow of story telling and game play is fantastic and keeps you wanting more. I would recommend this to anyone who enjoys games full of action and adventure.

I've been away from the Tomb Raider franchise for a while. I'm excited to finish this story and continue on to "Rise" enhanced on the xbox one x. It's an exciting time to be a gamer, even though I've always been one.

In short, this game is a lot of fun to play. The story is engaging. There are cool collectibles and upgrades and tons of exploration. I bought the original one reader a year ago for Xbox 360. This new version offers nothing new other than a lot more higher resolution graphics and other more realistic subtleties. My recommendation is if you played the original, don't pay $60 for this one. I wouldn't pay more than $40. So wait a few months for the price to go down or for a sale. Now if you haven't played it yet, totally buy this game. You won't be disappointed.

Enjoyed the combination of puzzle solving and action. Nice change from the usual button mashing however that too is in the game. Didn't play the older tomb raider games, but after this I am looking forward to the next.

I have been playing this game on and off over the last month, and have found it makes gets my adrenaline going. Overall graphics and story are good, and I enjoy the rush once in awhile, which is still fun for an old guy!

This is the first Tomb Raider game I've played, and I immensely enjoyed it. Good mix of weapons with fast-paced combat, not too much stealth, and incredible scenic vistas make this one of my favorite games this year.

My only gripe with this edition of the game is the graphical "upgrades" they made to Lara. It lacks the grit that made the first version of the game so charming. Still, this is a great gift idea to a friend to get them into the series if they have an XB1. Recommended for anyone who enjoys adventure games with a bit of shooting.
