I bought this game for my mom who loves the original Tomb Raider trilogy. She hasn't put it down since she started playing and has nearly finished the first game already. The game is faithful to the original, and being able to switch between the old and new graphics on the fly is a nice touch. Also it seems like they added a hand when you're nearby switches, items on the ground, etc. which makes grabbing those harder to see secrets a lot easier. Great investment if you're interested in playing the original Tomb Raider games, quirks and all.

Love it! Great games, very enjoyable. The graphics are incredible and I love how you can switch between new and old controls. Definitely worth the buy if you’re a Tomb Raider fan.

If you enjoyed the original trilogy of Tomb Raider games on the original PlayStation, PC, or Saturn (TR1), then you'll love this version of these classic games. Each game features the original versions of the games, with toggles for the classic and remastered looks. Each version is now consistent with the PC versions. For example, saving can be done anywhere, whereas save crystals were required in the console versions of TR1 and 3. In addition, all extra PC-exclusive expansion packs are included in this release. So, in a sense, this is like buying four games for the price of one! All in all, it's an excellent deal for Lara Croft fans young and old.

Overall a good nostalgic trilogy release of an iconic character that current console owners can enjoy again. A little debatable on the control issues though as those are still a hit-n-miss throughout all three games though nothing game breaking it can at times be more then a little tedious. Aside from that overall the trilogy plays fine and for gamers who grew up playing these games when they first came out it is indeed a love letter.

These games are classics, but I have to say that I don't really like the third game. The first game is the best and is what makes Tomb Raider feel like Tomb Raider. The second game, most of the enemies are humans, which kind of takes the soul out of it, but still good. The third game is just too hard with some of the most complicated game design. It felt like a chore getting through the third game. Although, these games are fun, get ready to have non-stop save states after every jump, because Laura is still awkward as all heck trying to platform with. I'd say that's the biggest reason why all of these games are so difficult.

Got it cheap so I’m happy. I get to own the games I grew up playing. I might never play them again but I like knowing they are there in case I want to play them again.

I was waiting to write this because I had heard rumblings that despite the game saying it was version 1.05 it didn't have the final patch. I was hoping this wasn't true, but a patch has been released (2.7 GB so it's not small and I wanted the game to run off the cart, which was my whole point of buying this) and while it fixes mostly small things (the BIG one here is without the patch you MAY - keyword MAY - not definite - get soft locked in the final level of the first game, which, of course, the one game in the package I care about has the big potential flaw, figures). I'm really annoyed because I thought the reason why putting of making the physical edition was to, you know, get the entire thing fixed so the physical edition could be used for archival reasons. I mean yeah, I get I have the patch now, and if Nintendo's services for the Switch online carry over to it's successor that will help as well, but what about 20 years down the road? I just wanted a complete copy of my favorite and first 3D platformer on the cart in a complete state and it's like, no - you can't have nice things. I guess I'll buy it again in the future when it's released for newer consoles with the hope of it being more future proof. I wasn't gonna buy the future IV-VI remaster prior to a physical for it being made for it but now I may not bother.

Its a little difficult to get used to because of how 2d the game play is. Overall, im so excited this is an option for nintendo. I loved the game as a kid. It has the option to play both the updated version and the old version which is cool.

This collection is great. A great way to relive the early games of Tomb Raider.

Pure nostalgia. Amazing remastered games from the PS1 era. You can also have the option to set it with the PS1 pixelated graphics. Don’t forget the t-rex that pops up and says HI, lol

Awesome game good price. Takes me back to ps one days. I'll be getting the other title tomb raider 4-6.

Great buy. The best way to experience the Authentic tomb raider experience outside of all the new age implements. It also lets you play classic style with the tap of a button as well as modern visuals. I recommend this version over any of the modern versions in a heartbeat.

I grew up playing these on the Play Station 1. So when this collection was announced I knew it was a must buy. It does not disappoint, if you're a fan this a must buy for your collection. Controls are alittle outdated but will suffice.

The only negative I have about this game are its controls. You still have the original tank controls from the PS1 era but you do have modern controls. It's also cool you can switch between modern graphics and its original graphics. It's really fun once you get yourself adjusted to everything.

The graphics upgrades are awesome and loving these games all over again!!

This collection is an awesome way to experience the original games on modern consoles. The ability to change between the older graphics and the new one give the games new life. The original controls are in tact with newer options that make quality of life improvements, the experience for modern gamers is better than before.

If you’re a fan of the series this is a must. Enhanced graphics are a delight and now you can take the adventure with you wherever you go. Lara Croft has never been better.
